they don't stay on, she pulls them off, I find them everywhere around the house and it is too cold to go without at this time of year. Curse you tiny socks! I hate your guts!

I hate mating/folding them too! They're always missing their match bc it's caught up in a onesie somewhere or something! I'm forever trying to locate one trumpette's other trumpette!

@PrincessBaby: yes! I tend to love our cheapie target socks because they are plain and can be matched easily.

I still love her Trumpettes because she can't pull them off yet! Ask me again in a few months

@PrincessBaby: I haven't done this, but heard that washing/drying baby socks in a lingerie bag keeps them in order.

Boom. .. sock number two off. She is surrounded by toys and she chooses to play with her socks and junk mail.....

@cascademom: @PrincessBaby: I lost one before baby is even here yet. We found it, but I washed the rest in a lingerie bag and didn't lose any that time.

So true. I feel sure that they connive with DW's socks when I'm doing the laundry, just to make it look as though I've been losing the socks.
Either that, or the washing machine is demanding a sacrifice of socks for each wash.

@PrincessBaby: I put her socks in a lingerie bag to wash so they don't disappear. And to match them I just pair them and clip with a clothespin. Don't know if that helps.

You likes to take them off and chew on them.
Case in point:

@PrincessBaby: I will say my MIL gave me the idea. I wasn't smart enough either!

I always find them stuck inside the seal of the washer. It sucks. We pretty much only put knee highs on LO now. She still pulls them, but it takes a while for her to get them completely off.

I try to was them in lingerie bags but never wanna actually put them in there before washing so I end up not..

@prettylizy: I don't have any kids so I have no idea how practical it is but could you put stockings on? Since its like pants, maybe she won't try to take them off. Then she'll be warm.

@bluestriped bee: I could, but they are a pain to get on/off for diaper changes. I usually double sock her these days so I have a little longer between re-application of socks.

@googly-eyes: I leave the lingerie bag by where her dirty clothes go and just put them in as I go along.

So maybe it wasn't a good idea to buy like 50 pairs of,socks lol?
