Ugh, I am SO sorry. E had 2 come in to start, then 6 come in at once, then 8 over the span of a month, molars and canines. He had all 16 by 1 year.

I tried to look at it like...at least it's happening all at once?

Big hugs, though. It's HARD to deal with that many at once!

UGH. yup..O got her incisors, molars and started canines all at the same time. canines are STILL coming. motrin has been our BFF.

@Mrs. Sketchbook: It could possibly be his second-year molars. He's 18 months? E's pediatrician told us that it's not possible for them to start coming in as early as 16 months, just not common. E is 19 months and at his 18 months appointment she told us she's starting to see some swelling.

But it might also be just part of his first set of molars. When's E's were just starting to come in there were two separate nubs, and as the teeth came in the "connecting valley" part came through and made it obvious that it was one tooth. Does that make sense? I don't know how well you can see (E's not a fan of me looking in his mouth!) but I used this chart to figure it out.

Poor baby, poor mama. I hope they all come through soon!!!

Oh poor baby. That's rough. I thought 8 at once was bad, but 10 would be terrible. And those first molars are tough. Hope he feels better soon.

Poor baby! At least he'll have this huge task accomplished and over with...
