Trying to navigate the CVS website was giving me bad flashbacks of spending hours scheduling my dad's shots back in February lol. But I successfully made an appointment at Walgreens -- their site worked better for me!

I'm so grateful these vaccines are available now! My daughter is booked for Saturday at a health department clinic.
@MrsSCB: I felt the same way today! Major flashbacks to scheduling appointments for my parents last winter.

Thank you for this PSA! Our pediatrician doesn’t have shots available yet but I was able to book an appointment for my son at CVS after seeing your post.

Nothing available in my area at the moment (though when I checked this morning, Walgreens' website hadn't update to even allow scheduling kids, so that is an improvement). I just went through this with scheduling my booster, however, so I will keep checking back, as I'm sure more appointments will open up.

This is such great news! My kids still have some antibodies from when they had covid 2 months ago so I'm not in a huge rush to get them scheduled b/c I know there are those who should get in line before them. We aren't high risk so we can handle a little bit of a wait. Trying to do the right thing b/c I know how hard it was to get myself scheduled!

Nothing available here until next Tuesday BUT then I heard our local university was doing walk-ins. Picked up my boys from school (they were NOT pleased to miss recess) and got them vaxxed! And I got my booster, too!

Awesome.
I wish this were ready two weeks ago. Currently in quarantine as dh is + so we're home until the 12th. He's out in the camper and we're hoping me and the kids don't get it. Although part of me wonders if the baby (18 mo) had it first and gave it to him. She was sick last week but our pedi doesn't test unless there's been a known exposure

Just kept checking back throughout the day, and snagged a single open appointment for Monday at a clinic our county is running. So excited to have LO's vaccination started before we visit family for Thanksgiving, and completed before Christmas (and before little sibling arrives)!

@JennyLayneAZ: bummer, sorry to hear. For the inevitable next time you need testing, Embry Health has locations all over AZ and tests all ages for any reason at all. At least one member of my family has been tested weekly on average since Sept 2020, almost all with Embry.
