So I was wondering if anyone has had experience with their cycle changing while on clomid? Did it get shorter, longer, or stay the same? My cycle is anywhere from 28-32 days long. I'm on CD28 now and was expecting to get AF today but not sure what to expect as this was my first cycle with clomid.

My first two cycles were shorter (27 days, then 29 days). This past cycle (my last with clomid) was 41 days. Worst ever.
I hope you have much better luck with clomid than I did!

@alive:thanks for the reply. I wanted to hear some others experience so as to not get my hopes up if I'm late a couple of days. I'm sorry to hear clomid hasn't been so great for you.

My cycles got shorter. The first was 32 days, the second was 29 and the third would have been 28 but we got our BFP. We also switched to Femara instead of clomid that cycle.

I used to have 33-40 day cycles. My 3 on Clomid were exactly 28.

@ladybee:@mrs.green grass: Thanks for your replies. AF showed her ugly face today at a nice 29 days. Now I am gearing up for what I have read as the worst period ever. So far not so bad, the usual cramps. Hoping next month she doesn't show up at all:)

I have PCOS so I didn't actually have cycles before I took clomid, but my two cycles on the drug were each about 6 weeks. The first time they put me on 50 mg and it took a really long time to start working (and I still don't know for sure if I actually o'd thanks to hurricane sandy) and the second cycle I was started on 50 mg again then when i wasn't responding they bumped me up to 100mg so it was like I had a cycle and a half.

Mine were rock solid 28 days. I missed my period and took a test on day 28, and got my BFP.

My cycle was shorter than usual. Normally it has been between 30-31 days, ovulating on day 17-18. This time I ovulated on CD 14/15, and my cycle was 28 days.

My first month on clomid my cycle was 31 days, but my ovulation day was later than usual (CD 18). My second month on clomid my cycle was 29 days and I ovulated on CD 16. My second month I also started going to acupuncture again though, so I am not sure if that's why my cycle differed a little bit. I have bad periods anyway but they tend to be a little worse when I am on clomid.
Average cycle for me is 31 days and I ovulate around CD 15 or 16 when I am not on clomid.

i only had 28 day cycles when doing clomid and trigger.. otherwise i did not ovulate on it at all
