He is more patient with G than I could ever be!
He has accepted & treated G just as his own!
He gives P a bath every night & serenades her with his own versions of love songs while doing it
He supported me every step of the way through our breastfeeding difficulties
And he supported me from the get go in the type of birth I desired, open to listen & never turned his nose up at the crazy idea of an hbac.

I am so thankful for his as my spouse & even more thankful of the father he is to our children!

I'm newly pregnant but DH has been amazing to me as I started to get bad morning sickness. He took over the grocery shopping, has been running out to the store to get me anything I need, and he just made some ginger tea for me. I'm so lucky to have him.

DH works so hard to provide for us, even though I work too.
He never complains about going in early or pulling an 11 hour day.
He got up w/ A today so that I could sleep in a little.
He comes home and is ready to get down on the floor and play w/ A right away.
He supports me pumping but is okay if I decide to stop.
He did all of the night feedings from 2 weeks to 5 months.

I am completely in awe of how wonderful DH has been to me pregnant. He takes care of the house, cooks me dinner most nights, and has put up with all sorts of crazy from me. I'm still 28 days and counting away from him being a 'dad,' but honestly, he's already a wonderful father to our incubating LO!

DH is amazing because he isn't DS's real dad, but he is more than happy to be his male role model and take care of him and me.

He also was phenomenal when we lost S. He lost his girl, too, but he was able to be strong for me in my worst moments.

DH is an awesome provider, champion diaper changer, excellent cook. He's super patient, is silly and fun with baby. He has a great sense of humor. We heart him mucho!

He works 70-80 hour weeks to provide for us while going to school and still helps with p all the time. Gets up with him. He was my biggest supporter breastfeeding when we were still bfing he helped so much. He is in love with our boy so much, p is a very lucky boy! Couldn't ask for a better daddy, I'm so proud and thankful for him!

He has so much on his shoulders right now. In the past two weeks we've sold a house, had a baby, and found a place to live where we're moving. In the next two weeks he has to be away for USN-R obligation and as soon as he gets back, the moving truck arrives to ship our household 4300 miles away. All while working a full time job, plus his USN-R commitment (which is essentially a full time job).
And yet he changes diapers like a champ even though he's never been around babies. (I only caught him putting the dipe on backwards once, heh.) He never hesitates to take E when he's crying like crazy and sing country songs to him. He stayed up all night trying to get E to take a bottle and forced me to get 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
I love this man to the stars and back!

What I'm most thankful with DH/why he is an awesome dad is the example for men that he is setting for our daughter from day one. He's very similar to my dad and he's 100% involved: does diaper changes, feedings, rockings to sleep, night wakings, stays home from work when she is sick, does daycare dropoffs/pickups, etc. While I bathe her, he cooks dinner and makes her bottles for the next day. He cleans the house more than I do, and we both take turns with baby so we each can get dedicated breaks to focus on our personal stuff and hobbies.

Plus, he gets up with her every morning so I can get a little extra sleep (I am not a morning person!!!).

LO is going to grow up knowing that it's totally normal and expected for men to clean, cook and care for children. In short, both DH and my dad rock.

He has always shared parenting duties with me from the very beginning, getting up with me every night when LO still woke up in the middle of the night.
He gets LO up every morning and changes him and brings him to me, and lets me get a few extra minutes of sleep.
He takes care of all LO's diaper changes, even (especially) the ones in public restrooms and airplanes.
He brings me water and my laptop when I'm nursing LO.
He makes LO smile and laugh so much, every day.
And he makes ME smile and laugh so much every day too!

He does the lion's share of everything at home while I work too much. He almost always takes morning wake up with the girls and he always fills up my water at night. He is so patient and kind with the girls and can juggle just about everything to take them out by himself.

Mr. Jacks is a true dad hero and did two years of stay at home duties to prove it!

DH is such a supportive partner and loving father. He got up for every single night feeding and would change M's diaper and bring her to me and stay awake while I nursed her (even while I was telling him to sleep). He does bath time, feeds her, plays with her, sings to her and is the only one who can consistently make her laugh. He works hard all day and rushes home to take her and give me a break when we've had a hard day. He gets up early before I can even hear her on the monitor and lets me sleep in. He takes care of M on his own while I work overnights and weekends and I never have to wonder if he knows what to do. He would do anything for me and for her and we are so very blessed to have him. I knew he would be a great Dad but he's just blown me away...

He works super hard so I can stay home with A, is fab at making her laugh, is absolutely head over heels in love with her, makes up songs about her, stories about her toys and the fact that she gives him the biggest ear-to-ear smile when gets home every day shows just how fab he is in A's world, too.

He's taken care of me and C all weekend since I've been sick with a fever and worthless on his one full weekend he gets off this month, not to mention that it's FD weekend Hopefully I can make it up to him soon!

A is a week old and I think DH had held two or three babies before becoming a father. Never changed a diaper or been around a newborn. But he knows exactly what to do- he holds A, helps with his baths, brings me whatever I need while A is eating, does most of the cooking and dishes, reads to him, and even tries to entertain him so Mommy can eat, too. He really has been a great Dad.

Oh and not once, but twice, he has surprised me with frozen yogurt this week.

He stepped in when he met me and became a wonderful male role model for my older LO's when he didn't have to. And now with A he is amazing as well!
We take turns with who gets up with her. She has started STTN for about two weeks now but he and I will switch with how gets up with her in the morning so the other can sleep.
He changes her, makes/washes bottles, jumps in if I'm getting frustrated about something, defends our choices with having a bedtime schedule to my inlaws that just don't understand why we think it's important, ALWAYS has my back and gives me all his support, he cleans more/better than I do and that's all while he works as well.
When the older LO's are in school he makes sure their homework is done if he's home before me.
I am so lucky this time around with him as their daddy. I didn't realize their were hands on dads like him.
I am very thankful and tell him often.

my hubby is an amazing father to our little girl! i seriously couldn't have made it through these last 7 months without him

he takes off 1 day a week during the work week to watch our daughter
he wakes up early on the weekends so i can sleep in
he handles night wakings if she isn't hungry, but fussy or sick
he is so hands on and interactive with her, she has so much fun with her daddy
she is the light of his life and he makes it known to anyone who he talks to
he has never once gotten overwhelmed or frustrated with her, even though I am guilty of that at times esp in the beginning when she wasn't sleeping well

I'm 32 weeks along, but hubby has been amazing throughout my pregnancy. He never complains about my naps (which can be 2+ hours sometimes), wakes up and massages my calves when I cramp up and gets upset at me when I don't wake him up -LOL!, he's uber patient and extra loving. and for once, when I ask him to help me out with something, he does it without complaint and willingly!

My husband does whatever he needs to do and then some. He'll pack boxes if I need boxes packed or he'll make lunch for us. I tell him often how wonderful he is.
