Just had to share!
We gave our LO (just shy of one month) his first bottle of EBM last night and I taught my husband how to bottle feed. LO thought he was just getting daddy cuddles and then he got milk - the look on his face was priceless! It really was "Whoa! When did dada get boobs?"

the first time she got a bottle when i was home, DH brought her over to me to say hi. the second she saw me she FREAKED out! stopped drinking, opened her mouth wide and got all bugeyed as if to say "how is it possible...i'm eating...but you're over there?" it took a minute for her to settle down and eat again, but she couldn't take her eyes off me the whole time.

@SweetMamaM: @Pirouette: OMG, those stories are awesome!!! The first time Xander got a bottle, I steered clear of both of them, so I don't actually know what his reaction was! I was too afraid to even be around for fear that Xander would immediately reject the bottle in preference for me!

Not as cute as itty babies, but we've recently been sleep training DD, which includes a complete bedtime routine switch up. I pretty much do 100% of bedtime, because DH starts catching up on some work as L goes to bed. Part of our new routine is doing milk first, instead of last (so she doesn't associate milk with falling asleep anymore). I decided we'd do that downstairs, and L can cuddle with Daddy and her milk and then I'll do the rest. After night 1 she RAN to DH with her cup of milk - she just knew that DH was her milk-giver now, and 1.5 weeks later she's still doing the same. It makes my heart melt to see her SO excited to cuddle with her Daddy.

My toddler keeps asking why Daddy can't feed the baby. She always wants me to put her to bed but DH says, "mommy can't, she's feeding the baby." And then LO says, "you feed her Daddy, and mommy will put me to bed." It's funny hearing him try to explain that Daddy's don't make milk.
