DD wants to be Daniel tiger for Halloween. Seems fairly easy. I'm going to her ears and a tail, paint her face and get a red sweater. I'm thinking of doing orange leggings and adding tiger stripes to them but I'd like the leggings to be wearable again in the future. Anyone have any ideas on how I can add a few removeable stripes?

@Mrs. Sunshine: last year Crazy 8 had a tiger hoodie and sweatpants. If you could find the sweatpants used and cheap they would be perfect. C was a tiger last year and I got her the hoodie, she still wears it as a sweatshirt instead of a costume. It was in the boys department. She wore tiger tights though.

Maybe paint the painters tape black! Might be easier to take off with no residue.

You could also cut them out of felt and sew them on with big stitches you could unpick later. I made myself an Angry Birds costume on a red sweater like this a few years ago.

We are also doing Daniel Tiger! I was going to put stripes on a pair of tan sweatpants with adhesive felt (http://www.michaels.com/cocoa-brown-adhesive-felt-sheets/D012098S.html#q=Adhesive+felt&start=9) but then I bought a secondhand tiger costume so now I'm just going to put him in that plus the red hoodie.
