Ugh....I really LOVE the Retro so I am not even going to look since I might be too tempted. I just bought two bags in a three week span (one being the Hobo) and my husband would kill me. He thinks I have a problem. But I really want the Retro...

on the other hand, it seems like they are really blowing up (they're on a flash sale site several times a month, it seems!) so hopefully when it comes to be your time to shop for a diaper bag, the deals will still be around... or even better!!

@Mrs. Yoyo: I'm not gonna lie, it's a big bag. If you are big bag averse, you might want to see it in person before ordering one!
That being said, this bag is not even big enough for my two kids! We carry an LL Bean tote for Wagon Jr.'s stuff. We can get away with just this one bag for the two kids, but we carry around his babybjorn potty seat and there's no way that will fit in here.

@mrs. wagon: I really think if I had the Retro in slate and the weekender bag in navy, my collection would be complete. Is that really too much to ask?! I didn't think so...
I do have to remind myself that the Retro handle doesn't seem very practical for two kids but that doesn't make me want it any less.

Well, my good friend is pregnant, I could get her one. 
If she doesn't like it, I think I could find someone (me!) to have it.
My secret baby stash (at work) is getting big. I do like the canvas tote one and that's only $100.

I just bought the hobo in plum off My Habit a couple wks ago! Using it today for the first time- omg loooove how organized and huge it is (I love big bags). Like @mrs. wagon: I also plan on using it forever as a non diaper bag

Honestly I think I would be ok with the tiny Retro handles because I rarely use the top handles for the Hobo. If I want to put it on my shoulder I just use the strap shortened to its shortest. It's more comfortable.

@Mrs. Yoyo: it is a big bag and right now I am only using it for one kid (number two is set to arrive in five weeks) and I think it will be a good fit. I also cloth diaper so that takes up even more room but I am so happy I got it. I know people say it is heavy but I don't notice that much. I also love to carry big purses (the bigger the purse, the skinnier you look!) so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Just to give you an idea... when all the inside pockets are full (I keep diapers, wipes, and the changing pad in the OUTside pockets) I can fit the following in the cavity of the bag:
zip-around cosmetics bag
small accordion file for coupons
large wallet
package of boogie wipes
my work flats (I've been wearing my snow boots to work)
2 cans of diet coke
This is what I carry on a daily basis! On weekends I'll throw in a lovey or two, a toy or two... you get the picture.

Sigh. I'm still sooooo sad the Hobo didn't work out for me. I'm still on the hunt for a good sized, yet not heavy, diaper bag. I'm thinking I'm going to just go for just a large tote.

@T-Mom: Have you thought about a good, structured tote with an insert like this one? My biggest requirement for a diaper bag is being able to keep a bottle upright, which is the one thing that most big, light totes don't have.

@T-Mom: My friend got a Marc by Marc Jacobs diaper bag (the nylon black one that's kind of quilted all over?). I think she likes it but it's not very structured. I think they have it in Nordstrom if you want to see it in person! And yes, I am the self-proclaimed diaper bag queen, to Wagon Sr.'s chagrin
