I currently have a Vera Bradley and want something that does more than just shoulder (either back pack or cross body). The Vera just had short straps and when I bent over the bag always fell off. We plan to cloth diaper and I will have an older toddler. Only really using on weekends for errands and day trips.

KS Stevie is the same with two short straps. Denise or Serena are cross body style.
I never pursued a Ju Ju Be because I never like the patterns, but they look so neat!
The Danzo is great but the regular hobo wasn't big enough for me. I think the San Ysidro might be a little roomier. I had to go all the way up to the weekender to get the space I needed. It's HUGE though.

I have two that are crossbody...the Marc Jacobs Eliz and a Coach one (no name?)....the Coach one is a pain but I love the MJ because:
-two short straps and a crossbody
-zipper to close so stuff doesn't fall out
-easily cleaned
-pretty good storage compartments
-big but not HUGE!

This reads like my finalist list, but I ended up with a Vera Bradley Convertible Baby Bag as a baby shower gift. I've come to really love it. You can wear it cross body, as a backpack or on one shoulder. It's held up through washing multiple times, and its structure makes it relatively easy to see what all is in there. I have the quilted black, which I like because it's somewhat sleek.

I would not get the stevie...I have it and while it's great while it's on the stroller, it is a huge pain to carry around on my shoulder. And it doesn't have a cross body strap, which sucks.

I have a Tania Storksak and loooove it. Awesome pockets, zipper top, handles and cross body strap, so great. I got a Danzo Weekender but hated it.

@Mrs.Panda: The magnet on the front doesn't do anything, just as a heads up. It's not a huge deal since that flap/pocket only holds the changing pad, but it's annoying. Still, that's my biggest beef with it, which isn't bad. Let me know if you have any questions

I have the jujube BFF and I like it a lot. It's not huge but packs a lot of stuff, has a cross body strap and backpack straps, cleans easily and stuff is easy to access. It also fits perfect under our b-ready. I would've liked a more purse-like diaper bag but DH said if I wanted him to carry it it couldn't be too girly.

@rattles: I did read that the magnetic flap was pretty weak, but otherwise it's good? Can those straps go over your shoulder or is it more like an elbow bag with the regular straps?

@Mrs.Panda: the padded straps are short - definitely elbow-length. I rarely use them. I almost always wear it as a messenger bag, slung across my body with DD on the other hip.

I love my Stevie - but it fits perfectly in my UBV basket. I would LOVE if it came with a cross-body strap.
@T.H.O.U.: I just bought the Rebecca Minkoff Marissa and love that it has long, flat shoulder straps AND a wide cross-body strap. But it seems a tad bit smaller (capacity) than my Stevie and PPB Boxy, so not sure if it's practical for 2 LOs. Though, I am a huge over-packer.

@T.H.O.U.: I absolutely love my JuJuBe BFF!!!! I don't currently use it since I don't need a lot with DS now (i have a jujube hobo I use now) but plan to use it once Baby #2 gets here. It's not huge but can fit a lot of stuff. I love that it's not really big though. I think Jujube puts a lot of thought into the design of their diaper bags. They are very functional.
Pros to the BFF:
-love the way the bag opens up. You can find things easily with out digging.
-inside pockets work very well and are functional
-love the zippered pocket on the outside to carry my wallet and phone and even has a little sunglasses holder
-love the soft smaller zippered pocket on the outside to carry either small camera or phone
-it's machine washable
-love the handle on the top. Very handy when you need to grab it out of the car or from whenever
-love that it can be used as a backpack or shoulder/cross body
-has 4 little metal feet on the bottom so bag doesn't touch the ground.
cons:
-nothing!

Bump - anyone else? I am still so torn between the Danzo San ysadro and the Ju Ju Be BFF backpack. I know they are kinda two different styles but I'm totally confused. It may come down to which one I could find for about $100 (or less would be better) and used.

I have a Storksak Olivia and Kate Spade Stevie. I loved all the pockets on the Storksak but I always found that I was stuffing it so full that it was hard to find things. I really like the Kate Spade but as other people have mentioned, it lacks a cross body strap (I have improvised by attaching the longer strap from my other bag, and by clipping the 2 stroller straps together) and I wish the pockets were elasticized.
