Before our move, we dropped her off w/ family because we lived so far from everyone and they would keep her overnight. Now that we're closer to family and have 2 kids, we'll probably have people come to our house so we can put the kids to bed before going out.

We've only done it a few times but they come to us and put LO down.

I bring my son to my parents, he stays there until we go and pick him up, but we have left him overnight one time.

I would love it if they would come to my house, but my mom gets super bored and would rather be at her house. Maybe next time I will suggest it so we can actually go out and stay out later than 7:30 pm!

I always let my parents decide where they want to watch DS. If they want to watch him at their house, they'll usually keep him overnight and put him to bed. If they come to our house, they'll come over early so that they can see him but we'll usually put him to bed before we leave.

We have our first non family babysitter this weekend and we'll put him to bed before she comes over. He goes down at 7 so it's not too far of a stretch to make plans for after.
