Sweet! I'm happy to hear you went out!

We don't go out very often as we're too cheap to pay for a babysitter.

We are going out for the first time tomorrow for a lunch date. DS is 9 months old. I'm excited. My SIL is babysitting for us. It's hard for me to chose to leave him when DH and I both have to work all week. But I know we need to prioritize our relationship too.

When our families visit or we visit them we usually try to go out on a biking or dinner dates.

We've gone out once a week for the last few weeks. Normally I wouldn't want to leave lo so often, but hubby and I are going to have a rough couple of months coming up and we won't be able to get out, so we're having dates while we can.

@Rubies: that is so sweet! if we lived near each other then we could do babysitting swaps since both our LOs go to sleep early. that is what i would like to do but i don't know people on the same schedule as us. or they have 2 kids so it's just harder.
