DH occasionally takes LO to Starbucks with him in the AM. They share a parfait/sandwich and he brings home coffee for me.
He can't wait til she gets older so they can have more dates.

I used to take Charlie to our local cafe every morning at 7 am! Then thank goodness, he stopped waking up at 4 or 5 am.... phew!

DH takes her on dates during the weekends so that I can do the cooking or whatever. But they usually end up at Home Depot since we always need something for the house!

They go to the park sometimes if she's being cranky to give me a little break.

He likes to take her on walks. Since I work sometimes on Sundays they have a church date and then sit in a park for awhile.

Rob Sr. takes RJ to the park every day of every weekend unless it's too cold or pouring. They used to stop at Panera and pick up breakfast for me (and I would sleep in!) but these days I usually go with them so the dogs can go too.

I love days when it's just DS and I. I love to take him to the park and downtown to walk around and shop at a few of our favorite stores. DH is more of a homebody, so he usually doesn't go out with DH, unless it's a necessary errand. But I love to go out with DS.
