Our daycare teacher just told us they are not allowed to bind the arms down, so they can't swaddle unless they leave both arms out. This is the worst news for me as far as baby sleep goes, and at least my babies are only a month or so away from swaddle weaning.
She wasn't sure of it was a state or corporate requirement, but if it's a corporate thing, I am going to have to say something.

Our daycare doesnt swaddle but you can take in a sleep sack like wombie which gives the same effect

When my kids were in daycare, they were still swaddling a two year old who had a hard time sleeping without it. They used to wrap him up in the big sheet and rock him to sleep. 
It was pretty funny.
Sorry your daycare doesn't swaddle. I bet your boys adjust to it very quickly, though. Babies are so flexible!

Our daycare couldn't swaddle with a blanket but they can with a sleepsack or swaddleme. It was state regulation that they couldn't use a blanket.

I believe they did offer it even though LO was never swaddled.

We never really swaddled, so it wasn't an issue with us.
Can you bring in a sleep sack?

I agree, ours had a rule they couldn't use blankets even for swaddling. But I did get a Halo sleep sack with a swaddle and they were able to use that.
Maybe ask for clarification and see if they would use one of those?

Ours said it was a state reg, but they did allow sleep sacks. It wasn't a big deal for us, since we only swaddled at night nd not for naps anyways.

Ours won't use swaddles or sleep sacks! State regulation. I was suuuuuuper stressed about this (like many a crying fit about it). But guess what? LO adjusted fine! The first week was a little rough but she learned to nap in the swing or the bouncer and eventually transitioned to her crib with no swaddle and now she does great sleeping at school. I promise it won't be as horrible as you think it will be.

I never swaddled, she didn't like it, but our daycare would only allow sacks not blankets.

Our daycare officially couldn't bind arms, but I've seen some of the really littlest swaddled up (although they weren't in their cribs).

State law prohibits swaddling. Luckily she napped without it and we just swaddled at night until we weaned from it a couple of months later.

Our daycare only swaddled their arms, they looked like they were all wearing straight jackets! I hope your little boys sleep isn't affected!

The first day care we looked at said they couldn't swaddle due to state regulations. The day care we are at now swaddles her for naps. One of them is wrong. In any case, her day care naps were crap until they started swaddling her. We're starting to swaddle wean (one arm out at night), so she'll have to do it soon at day care as well.

They said that they would but we swaddle weaned before she started. But maybe their definition of "swaddle" = "sleep sack". They let us use sleep sacks until she could pull to stand. Then they deemed them unsafe.
