So my DD turns 3 next Sunday. I feel like I blinked and it has come round because I have been so busy at work I haven't really had time to plan anything. I have decided to have a Minnie Mouse party at daycare and have ordered the cake and bought the balloons.
Has anyone else had daycare parties for your kid? Besides cake, balloons and gift bags what else did you take in? Any ideas or inspiration would really be appreciated!

We aren't allowed to do that but I would love to! What else will they allow? Are you doing this during lunch or how much time are they giving you?

I would love to take in some coloring sheets or a little mini (haha pun there) activity.
Check with the daycare, ours does not allow latex balloons since they can be a choking hazard.

I just took in mini cupakes, applesauce packets, party hats, and gift bags. I just went during snack time. Then I took her home early.

We did George at home so I made banan cupcakes and got George rings and used them as a topper for the kids.
I'm actually not sure if we're allowed to do all that extra stuff!

@Mamaof2: we are going in after the daycare wide nap which ends at 3 so we will probably start at 3.30. Apparently some parents hire clowns, face painting etc but I think that is kind if wasted on them so little. Maybe when she turns 4:)
@T.H.O.U.: they said I could bring balloons but I will double check to make sure, good point!
@Smurfette: this is helpful. I have Minnie Mouse ear party hats, can't decide whether to get Mickey ears for the boys or just regular hats.

we're asked to bring in cups, plates, napkins and tablecloths so I bought a pale pink tablecloth and princess everything else + party hats. No balloons for us, but I did bring in cupcakes, water bottles, fruit and a goody bag.

Wow glad our area hasn't started daycare parties. I haven't heard of anyone bringing in even cupcakes.
