Do you still take treats into daycare to celebrate your child's birthday if all the daycare kids were invited to your child's party? What if your child's birthday isn't a weekday but a weekend so they won't actually be there on their birthday?

Yep. Birthdays are so exciting to little ones, I'm in favor of letting them have all the fun

We did. His birthday was on a Saturday so we just brought in treats the Friday before. Worked out great because it was also their spring party/easter egg hunt. He had a blast handing them out to his friends. Plus not everyone came to his birthday party (even though we invited the whole class, only 4 actually came).

I would! Not all the kids may make it to the party and it's special to celebrate with teachers too Maybe just a healthy little "treat" like some whole grain muffins. If your child's birthday is on the weekend, I would bring the stuff in on Friday.

I would be fine with skipping if my kid wasn't asking about it.

We skipped it and my DD wasn't bothered. It felt like over celebrating to me because everyone was already coming to her party.

We didn't. We already had a little immediate family celebration on his bday and a big party in the park. Doing something at school felt like overkill.
