So A only goes to daycare (at the gym) twice a week for about three hours. He randomly goes at other times if DH and I work out together on the weekends, but he always goes two evenings a week while I am teaching classes.

He has been SO hit or miss when he goes to daycare. He hardly ever takes a bottle from them (he usually takes one from me, DH or a family member after a little fussing), he usually won't nap even though he needs it and he fusses and cries the whole time. Sometimes they even have to come and get me or DH and have us pick him up early from daycare because they can't get him to do anything and they are supposed to get the parents if they cry for more than 15 minutes.

So last night I went to pick him up and he was crying in the swing. They said he had been crying since I dropped him off 2 1/2 hours earlier, but he never got red in the face or had tears-he was just angry. He wouldn't eat or sleep for them and he just cried the entire time. I felt so sad for him and I don't know what to do to try and make it better when he goes. I really enjoy the few hours a week that I do work outside the home, it helps keep me sane and I get my workout in.

By the time we got him home, I gave him only two ounces from the bottle they tried to feed him and he fell asleep and he NEVER falls asleep taking a bottle. He was just so exhausted.

I don't really know if I am looking for advice or just venting. I just hate for him to be so upset and I keep thinking the longer he goes to daycare it'll get better, but it has been a couple of months and it isn't improving. I am tired of throwing out pumped milk that he doesn't drink at daycare, too.

Just frustrating for me and I feel frustrated for A because he is having such a hard time. Thanks for listening.
