L's daycare has water day every Friday and we are supposed to bring a bag that will fit his towel, water shoes and bathing suit after water time. It's not allowed to be a plastic bag (per PA DPW regs). What do you use to tote wet stuff to and from daycare? Just a regular reusable bag or something fancier?

Trader joes (or similar) reusable grocery bag?? I say TJs because they are waterproof...
Otherwise if you have a Tj maxx near you they have a bunch of beachy totes for 20ish bucks that could work.

I sent a wetbag for his bathing suit and shoes. His towel I sent in a waterproof reusable grocery bag, the kind with the handles.

I second @looch's suggestion for a wet bag. They come in pretty big sizes and roll up small when you don't need them. Bonus - you can throw them in the wash every few days to prevent mildew or general yuckiness.

I use a wet bag (like Itzy Ritzy or something) and put that with the suit, water shoes, and towel in an embroidered canvas tote from LLBean or PBK so C's stuff doesn't get mixed up.

The large is 17x21, and the medium is 12.5x16.
I really like the ones with the handle because I can loop it over DD's regular bag so I am not carrying so many damn bags (in addition to her lunch bag, my work bag...).

@septca: Thanks! Just ordered one. I can wash it over the weekend and then pack it up and leave in the car so I don't forget on Friday's. Cause otherwise I know I will.

he doesn't go to daycare but when dh brings him to the pool I send a planetwise wetbag with them.

@Smurfette: and if you forget to take it out of the car and it smells rank when you do... It will wash well. Not that I have ever done that.
