My SIL just had a baby, and they named her a day of the week that I've never heard used as a name before (and isn't the day she was born on). Just curious if this is a trend I've never heard of? Do you know any days of the week babies/people?

I voted Tuesday because we have a TV show here in the UK called Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners. They basically take people with OCD (who are in some cases clearly very sick) to filthy houses inhabited by people who are, in some cases, clearly very sick (hoarders, people with depression) and ask them to clean the house. Drama inevitably ensures and we all watch the circus. Nice. Anyway, there was a girl on that show called Tuesday. I cringed when I first heard it but it grew on me and i actually quite like it now! It suited her.

I can honestly say in all my years of teaching, I haven't had a student who was named the day of the week.

Ha! I'm a moron. I reread the message and it says "baby will be named Thursday." I guess that must mean baby will be receiving a name ON Thursday. I should never act upon news I receive at 4am.
