Are you Christian by chance? LO got really freaked out by Halloween one day (it was these cartoons she was watching) and there is a Veggie Tales song on youtube, "God is bigger than the boogie man" and it totally cured her!

we watched how the Grinch stole Christmas a few years ago and my kids were terrified that the Grinch was going to come out of their closet. Never thought a Dr. Seuss character would turn into years of being afraid of monsters. I don't think it's a mommy fail I think it's just normal.

You could always look for pictures of frost on things like leaves or cars or houses and talk to her about how frost actually forms.

Don't feel bad! They get freaked out by the oddest things my daughter was scared shitless of Spider-Man. Like I couldn't get her to into our local grocery store without her crying because they had a huge Spider-Man balloon in the front. I don't have a ton of advice but we just reassured her that he's not real, he's nice, he's a friend, etc. It took awhile but I think she's better now??

And I think age 2/3 is when the fears go into overdrive. I swear, she was scared of everything this year! It's slowly getting better Good luck!

My son is afraid of a lot of different characters, but it has gotten (somewhat) better with age. I just keep reiterating that they are not real, that they are just drawings or cartoons.
