11 dpo - Temp was a dip, not a drop. I'm hoping TD let's me keep it and it could be a 10 dpo ID. #ReachingAtStrawsForeverHopeful
@Yellowbeach: @Mrs. K: Thank you, ladies!

@Kaohinani: Oooh, nice chart! I had a dip on 9dpo, but today's temp wasn't as high as the day before the dip. I don't want to get my hopes up.

@paranundrum: A dip is a dip, right? I do understand your hesitance to get excited, though, as I feel the same ... after trying so long and watching so many dips, I always hope that they are something "good" but I never put too much stock into whether or not a particular dip will amount to my BFP. I will keep hopeful that both of ours is good luck!

As quickly as I jumped in, I'm out. AF came yesterday. I'm a little bummed but also glad after not having a period for 3+ years that my cycle is back and we can move forward. Let's hope for great things for us all in 2019!

@Phillybaby2013: Awe, so sorry to read that you are out.

@LAZB: Oh, NO! That is terrible!!! I hope you begin to feel better soon.
And, I am very glad the tiny belly-baby is doing well.

K, so trackers have nixed my assumed ovulation on CD9, so now instead of being 5dpo, I'm back to ? days until O π€·ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ

@yellowbeach: Merry Christmas! ββοΈ
Also, to all the December POAS ladies:
Merry Christmas!
P.S. I [intermittently] pop on to check for any BFPs or sticks. Lol.

I've seen 8 baby announcements today on Facebook including 2 sets of twins.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@Sams Mom: I'm torn on that. While I would want to be so happy for all of them, I do understand why it would be so upsetting. The only solution: To Stay. Off. Of. FB.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@Kaohinani: I'm so excited for all of them, but just a tinge jealous.
FB & HB are hard to avoid while hubby is in bed from night shift and Sam is actually napping

@Sams Mom: I feel you ... I was on here hoping someone would post a Christmas BFP. I'm too chicken to test at 12 dpo [in case of a BFN] so I'd rather live vicariously through someone else.

@Mrs. K: Thank you! (I feel bad that DH couldn't have been in it bc he was taking it.) I hope you are having a lovely Christmas!
@Youboots: Sorry to hear of the BFN.
Kept checking in for your BFP (and Paranundrum's and Mrs B's). But, you [obviously] know the drill . Hope you are having a spectacular day!

So I took this test just now with FMU and was not expecting two lines. Iβm planning on calling my RE first thing to schedule a blood test. I want to get excited but Iβm also so nervous.

@Mrs. B: WOW! Those are 2 BEAUTIFUL lines ... Congratulations! So excited for you!

@Kaohinani: What does it look like when you compare the line to prior charts? Do they usually fall sooner? (Post post post!)
@Mrs B: Boom BFP
! Congrats!
AFM: all these holiday cocktails are I think confusing my dear friend FF. She thinks I OVed, which is impossible due to the meds Iβm on (estrace BID) and how early this would be.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@yellowbeach: For you:
(Four chart comparison - My temps are the highest this cycle; however, I have had a 17 day luteal in the last 4 mos, soooo ..... IDK π€·ββοΈ)
As for your chart, while you may not have OVed due to the medication, successful CD 7 and 8 OV for conception are not unheard of as long as the follicle is large and mature enough at the day of release. I have yet to find any data on successful CD 6 ovulatory patterns, though.

Soooooooo, all hopes have been dashed for having a medicated natural intercourse or IUI cycle NEXT cycle. Spoke with the RE's office and my meds were not accepted by insurance before the holiday so, they have to resubmit ... once they resubmit, it takes TWO weeks to process and during that time, I have to take a 30-minute class on giving myself my injectables. I will be mid-cycle by the time this all comes to fruition!!! On top of that, on CD 3 of next cycle, they want to scan (U/S) for the cyst which they suspect was a corpus luteum last cycle. If it is still there or if I have any cysts, the RE would like to surgically remove all of them and start fresh, as well as, possibly remove any extra scar tissue (while in there) I may have before we begin a medicated cycle. I could just cry.
I REALLY hope I am pregnant this month because I keep getting hit with so much "bleh."
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@Kaohinani: lady that could turn into a triphasic ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
How are your boobs? (I ask because outside of medicated cycles, they don't get too wild on you, so they might be a trusted non symptom)
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@Kaohinani: your other post came through while I was posting. Although not ideal, look at it this way... Surgery for anything with added bonus of removal of scar tissue (which both of us worry is causing some of our issues) could result in the magical combination for pregnancy.
But boo to the class and insurance and all the other crap.

@Sams Mom: Basically, nada. Itchy nipples? And I'm still very mildly crampy but it almost feels similar to light gas pains down low. A tiny chin zit emerged early this morning -- latest appearance of acne I have had during a cycle. So, pretty much nothing.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
So my gym is packed already with new year resolution-ers so I'm killing time on my phone trying to decide if I want to shave my legs tonight to take my son to the pool tomorrow... Also I didn't want to pull my son out of childcare just because I can't workout, he loves playing with the kids so much.
As to the TTC front, I've been crampy on and off for the last almost week. Terrible trapped gas pain, some pelvic pain, and achy boobs π€·ββοΈ
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@Sams Mom: ... Because you have to wait until the 29th. (joking) It's going to get nerdy up in here π€π§
:
Statistically, one is more likely to show a positive at 10 dpo than at 8 dpo due to the fact that only a fraction of implantations actually only occur at 5/6 dpo and have perfect 48-hour doubling of HCG. As we know from here, it does happen (pointing a finger at Bananasareyellow
), but is far more rare than BFPs at 10 - 16 dpo. IN FACT, 9/10 dpo has the highest percentage of implantation rate which, then, considering 48/72- hour HCG doubling, one should test at 12 or 14 dpo. (This is why most HPTs, even the earliest ones, suggest waiting atleast until the day of your missed AF.
)
Besides, π€ we have the same test date. π€£
grapefruit / 4144 posts
14 dpo - π€ Temp is down a bit ... may be a normal fluctuation or the start of a downward trend. π€·ββοΈ Still hopeful this cycle, especially after finding out our injectables cycles has to be pushed back to February (our 3 yr mark trying for #3).
clementine / 811 posts
As always - no good news from me. I'm out.
I was pretty hopeful on 11dpo, because my temp had risen for two days after the dip, but the temp on 12dpo was lower again and I started spotting lightly late last night. Today's temp has dropped even more. I'll attach my chart.
We'll probably try to get an appointment again to see a specialist in the coming months, I'm tired of the constant cycle of failure after failure after failure.
@Kaohinani: Your chart still looks really good though and I loved your Christmas photo!
@Mrs. B: Congratulations!
I hope everyone had happy Christmas!
