Exciting stuff for this month: I’m starting a new, second part-time job. ‍⚕️ Feel nervous being the new kid at a new school, but I think it will be good experience for me. Also, definitely looking forward to Christmas. I’ll probably decorate on Thanksgiving if not before.

I'll get two chances to POAS in December. FF predicts my next ov to be around the 15th with a POAS date on the 29th. I'm hoping, as always, to be done and get a BFP the first time around though.

@Sams Mom: Did the FMW ever make in the bowl last night or did you just grab the box and munch on handfuls while watching, "Outlander?" I only ask because you seemed to borderline on ravenous and "Cavewoman who doesn't give a sh#t" at the point you wrote that. 🤣🤣 Like, if someone tried to garner a wheat biscuit or two from the box, you'd bite them, kind of hungry. I hope they were good (* stupid wheat allergy, I can't eat them without a mega dose of Benadryl. )

@Sams Mom: Yeah, well my "heavy" AF was a 1-day thing. I, basically, had a 2-1/2 day (* heavy day and 1-1/2 "where the h#ll did it go?" days) period and 1 tiny spot today. IDK what is up. They are always short and fairly scant. Hoping my endometrial lining is thick enough. Ugh.

@yellowbeach: SCORE! Buy in bulk! H#ll, make them stocking stuffers and send them as gifts!!!! 🤣

@Sams Mom: IDK. It could be a toss up. 🤷‍♀️You may be bleeding out but I may not have enough estrogen to make a sufficient lining to maintain a pregnancy. Get ready ... I'm getting nerdy here 🤓: Either (light or heavy AF) could signify hormonal issues and create a subpar endometrial lining which would lend to another BFN month. Light AF (hypomenorrhea) is when one is producing substantially less than, I believe, 30 mL per cycle due to lower estrogen levels (thinner uterine lining) or higher levels of testosterone (such as found in PCOS). Hypomenorrhea can be caused by perimenopause, endometriosis (it can fluctuate with either heavy or very light and painful bleeds), PCOS, cervical stenosis, and general infertility due to thin lining.
-- On the opposite end of the spectrum is hypermenorrhea (heavy menstrual bleeds). They can be caused by too much estrogen (thick endometrial lining fluid flushing), fluctuations of high testosterone (as seen in PCOS and due to hormonal cysts and fibroids), low progesterone. Conditions that may cause heavy AF include, but are not limited to: Endometriosis, polyps, cysts, PCOS, fibroids, scar tissue, blood disorders (* such as von Willebrand's disease), the use of anti-inflammatory/anticoagulant/antiplatelet medications, Leukemia, Hypertension, Diabetes, Liver diseases, Lupus (and various other autoimmune disorders), and many PIDs. (*Phew! That is ALL I can remember about hypo- and hyper- menorrhea.)
--- Anyway, my point is that with both AF issues, there can be a plethora of catalyst for cause but can cause the same outcome- no BFP. So, finding the root of the issue is important (especially with an unfortunate "unexplained secondary infertility" stamp as we both wear). Unfortunately, neither is the better evil. I do hope you are feeling better today and no one finds you sucked dry of blood as if a vampire 🧛‍♀️attacked you! 🤣

@Sams Mom: I had that three cycles ago and I was slightly convinced I had a chemical based on two suspicious tests. Anyway, I was sure I was going to bleed out. It was absolutely ridiculous. I use a menstrual cup so could quantify the blood (and I did in one of my apps. Haha). It was the heaviest period I have ever had in my life and it reminded me of pp bleeding. Hope it’s over soon for you! I just kept saying to my husband whenever I left he washroom “I’m still bleeding everywhere. There’s so much”. Lol

@Sams Mom: Give 'em a "crazy eye" 🤪 for their "side eyes" or eye rolls 🙄. Trust me, they will never do it again. 🤣🤣
