How soon after your first child did you decide you wanted a second one? I know my hubs wants a daughter badly, but at this point I don't think I can do this again! The lack of sleep is brutal. I'm 7 weeks pp. I also feel I'll be so much older and it'll be even harder than it is now!

We always knew we wanted 2 children but we decided to start trying for #2 when my son was a little over a year old. Oh I know how you feel! During the first few months, I was thinking we were one and done! No way was I gonna go through that again! But then time passes, and you tend to forget the bad stuff. And then you see your LO and long for him/her to have a sibling. So you do it allllll over again!

I think I was about 6 Weeks when baby fever hit again? We ended up holding out to ttc until DD wad a year, though.
I always say those first few months are survival time! You just have to make it through any way you can and then it gets A LOT better!

Right after my tear stopped hurting I was ready for another. DH thought I was nuts! But I was just so in love with LO, I wanted another
Luckily he is more logical and practical and talked us into waiting awhile, and I think we'll wait to TTC until she's around 2. We need her to be a little more independent when I'm pregnant because I get pretty nasty migraines when I'm pregnant.

Getting pregnant was a bit difficult for us, so I won't be going on any type of birth control after our LO is born in December. I swore I'd never get on it again.... BFing will be the only type of semi-BC I go on. We figure that if it happens again, we'll take it any way we get it! I don't ever want to be the TTC stressball that I was for #1. Pregnancy has been pretty easy for me, too...I actually enjoy it!

LO is 4 months old now and even though I'm not quite ready for another one, at least I know that I want to get pregnant again someday. When I was where you're at now, I was pretty certain that I would never want to go through pregnancy/birth/the newborn stage again. But I swear, it does get easier. I can't overstate how hard I found the early days (probably up until around the 2 month mark) to be. And even after it got easier, it didn't start being more fun for me until maybe around 3 months or so?
I still think I would want to wait until LO is 2 to TTC, though, as I need her to be slightly more independent before I bring another little person into the mix.

Well Liv is 14 months old and Im still not ready for another one yet. I know I do want another at some point (I think anyways) but Im just not there yet.
Keep in mind youre ONLU 7 weeks pp. Get into a zone of smoother sailing before you make that decision. Its easy for DH to say he wants another go at it, but you are the one recovering and having to go through the hard work.

i wasn't ready for another one when i got pregnant with olive when charlie was 13 months old. but starting from that age, he got so much easier that i actually think it was the perfect time to be pregnant for me with a second.

We talked about it almost right away and we knew we wanted them to be less than two years apart....20 months was the difference we wanted but they will be 16 months apart!

Prior to having LO, I swore I would never want to be pregnant again. I was miserable the entire time. I was also worried about how we'd adjust and cope as older parents. Needless to say I was shocked when almost immediately after having her I felt it was totally worth it, and that I would do it again. LO will be 12 weeks this week and honestly, I'd love to get pregnant again right now! That being said, I won't as DH is not fully on board for a second. LO is super good too. If she wasn't then I might feel differently.

Fortunately I had a fairly easy pregnancy! It's the newborn stage that has me guessing if I can do this again. It looks like most moms get over it fast!

i always knew i wanted more than one. it was probably less than 6 pp weeks when i was like ' i want to be pregnant now!' DH is a little more reasonable and we will be waiting. lol we will probably be trying beginning of the new year. i want them to be close in age.

My pregnancy wasn't bad, I just didn't enjoy it. And life adjusting to a newborn was challenging. Heck life with a toddler has it's challenges. I'm not sure I'm up to the challenges of two, but I really want my daughter to have a sibling. Surprisingly, DH is the one being rational and preventing us having another right now.

I remember thinking "I'm never doing this again" in those early weeks. I wouldn't have traded LO for the world, but lack of sleep, and being an inexperienced new parent was hard for me. Plus I had some pretty bad baby blues, but after around month 2 I was ready to do it again! LO is 6 months old now, and I'm finding myself slightly jealous of all of the beautiful pregnant ladies! I'd love to be pregnant again right now, but we want to take time to enjoy LO, and not rush. Plus, we really want to be in a bigger home first. We're planning for number 2 before I'm 30, and I'm 28 now.

I've wanted 2 kids since as long as I can remember but after having our LO I seriously contemplated being one and done. He is 7 months now and I still don't know if I want to go through those newborn days again (although I loved being pregnant and would do that again in a heartbeat). I've also never wanted 2 under 2 so we still have lots of time to decide on when/if we TTC next.
