Do you have anything hanging on the wall over your bed? Not over like porn star over, but above the headboard area! I've seen people hang framed photos there. We've been thinking about some sort of metal art. Not sure what exactly though!

Our bedroom is one of the last in the house that needs a make-over so... We might put something over it once I have the money to fix our room up!

We have a window behind our bed, so that is our "decoration" but I have seen some really cute sunbursts mirror above the bed or maybe a gallery wall.

We just painted our bedroom and the wall the bed will be on is an accent wall. DH likes the idea of metal sconces on the wall but I'm not entirely sold on it.

We have a white shelf from West Elm with some pictures and decorative items on it.

We don't have anything. Our room is so boring! I was thinking of putting a shelf up, like a faux mantel. (Did that in out LR)

We have a canvas print of a yellow/grey flower that matches our bedding (white comforter, grey blanket, yellow pillows). They are also our wedding colors so it always reminds me of our day!

I wanted to put up a large monogram of some kind but DH beat me to it and installed a wall mounted carbon monoxide detector. Thanks for keeping us safe and all, but...

I got a set of 16x20 matted black frames to hang, but haven't put them up yet cause I can't find a set of 3 pictures to use.
I tried to look for metal art too, but it couldn't find one large enough to look right. They all looked dwarfed by the king bed and 14 ft ceilings.

The wall behind our bed is painted blue as an accent wall while the rest of our bedroom is white. We hung a good size picture of us from our wedding day above the bed.

@swedishfish: That's basically our room! It's a light tan/cream color and the wall behind the bed is a dark blue.

I planned on hanging three canvas prints above our bed, but put them in the dining room instead. I hung a print my mom gave us It's photographs of objects that look like letters and it spells our last name.

in my old apartment, i had a huge framed print of steinberg's new yorker cover. now we have bookshelves.
