When did you begin buying dental and vision insurance for you LO? I've heard you should take your LO to get their vision checked out as young as 6 months!

I added her to my coverage at birth (for medical, vision, and dental).

Under age 6 (at least for my policy) vision checks are done at the Ped and covered under your medical coverage.
We started dental coverage at age 2 - that's when we started taking our kids and added vision since it was grouped together.

We added the full health insurance contingent (medical, dental, and vision) at birth.

we're going to add dental/vision next year, when DS is two!

We added her to our plan at birth, because our entire plan changed to incorporate family. I plan on getting her eyes checked at six months because I have a genetic eye condition.

We won't add them until at least 2, and maybe even longer.

I added DS to my medical when he was born, but looks like the majority don't add vision and dental till they're 2! Works for me on saving another year on premiums.
