Jeans are expensive! I'm tall, so I'm used to paying out the butt for long pants. I have an office job, but can wear nice dark wash denim to work every day, if I choose. My two non-maternity favorites are Paige and 7 for all mankind, both in long. Any suggestions for maternity jeans?
I've been wearing a hair tie on my jeans but they keep falling down at work! So that's not going to fly at all.

Could you use a bella band to extend their wear? It's supposed to help your pants stay up. I'm thinking about getting one to wear for work because I do a lot of reaching up and don't want my tummy to show.

Ooh, I'm anxious to see responses on this! I have heard that Pea in the Pod has good designer maternity jeans. I would really like a nice pair that's not super flared (seems like all the pictures I see online are big flares).

I am 5'10", but all legs. Pea in the Pod are good in tall, but still were too short for me with heals. They work great with flats. The longest jeans that were good for heal wearing were the Motherhood jeans in tall. They are super long.

I bought a few pairs of designer ones but I found that the Gap maternity jeans were more comfortable for me.

I've got a bella band, and I wore it with my first two pregnancies, but it tends to roll a lot, too, and it still looks like my pants are unbuttoned because the zipper comes undone below them. It'll buy me a little time, though.
I'm a little taller, junebug, but I only wear flats! 
I definitely am going with bootcut, tororojo! I feel like they are more professional anyways, while the flared styles feel more flirty and fun.

I bought a pair of AG maternity jeans from A Pea in the Pod and they were SO WORTH the $210!!! I love True Religion jeans prepreg, but the AG jeans had more stretch and were just so comfy and flattering compared to all the Trues/sevens/paige I tried on. The sales girl said that was the most popular jean they sell bc of the stretchy comfort and flattering cut. I bought them in my prepreg size and I expect them to last my entire pregnancy bc they have so much give. I live in FL and I wear the crap out of these even though it's 95 degrees!

I had a pair of 7's maternity jeans which fit nicely. I also got a pair of Joe Jeans at Pe in the pod which were great too. I'm short (but with long legs) and had to have them hemmed several inches.

weighing in for the short girls checking this i'm 5'4" and have the straight-leg jbrand maternity jeans from shopbop. totally worth it- i didn't have to hem them and they give me the dignity of a zipper & pockets

I have the Paige bootleg ones (full panel) and they are really nice but I don't think I would have paid full price for them. I got lucky one day and found a pair in my size at the Bloomingdale's Outlet for $70. All of my other maternity denim was Old Navy or Gap.

I wish I had invested in a nice pair of jeans while pregnant!!
I wanted to try Paige since I heard some good things about them, Citizens as well. But I have no real experience with either.

I purchased a couple of pairs of Paige maternity jeans

They were awesome until I got big. I tried 7's and Joes, and none fit me well. Once I was big enough for a full panel, I switched to Gap and was very happy with those.

Still denim hunting, thanks ladies! I tried some on at the stores this weekend and I wore a 29 pre-preg and I'm more of a 32 in maternity denim. They are cut WAY differently. Which is a duh, but they said to start with your pre-peg size. They weren't even going to come up past my legs, ha. I tried on some Joe's in the store, but I really want a dark wash so I can wear them to work.
I did find some Paige Laurel Canyons on sale, but I have been checking Ebay for used ones so far. Thanks for the info!

@blackbird: My favorite non-maternity jeans are Joe's and I had luck with cheap-o jeans from Motherhood Maternity. Have you tried the long ones there? I found a cute bootcut pair, maybe you will have luck as well! Then you could pocket the difference and go buy something fun.
Oh yeah, wanted to add--some of their jeans have random sparkle/novelty crap on the back pockets, but I found several plain pairs, which was a requirement for me.

I tried on the regular and long Motherhood Maternity cheapies and they were way short. Looked ridiculous on me. The lady said they had a 32" inseam and I'm closer to a 35". Which, for regular non-maternity jeans, means I special order extra long length (which I get from the Buckle) or I buy the designer jeans on sale (which are always freakishly long!)
And yes, no novelty junk on them, haha. Plain, simple, dark wash, please. Nobody needs to be staring at my sparkly booty at work. And no tatters/bleaching, either.

I got Paige maternity jeans and I love them. Just go to Pea in the Pod - they have all the normal jeans, just with a maternity top sewn in. I think it's so worth it to buy a pair, especially since regular jeans won't start fitting right away anyway.

@blackbird: Sad day! I'm positive that they have some with at least a 34-35" inseam--maybe your store was running low? I'm about a 32-33" with no shoes, and the long lengths were dragging on the floor by a lot! With a lot of jeans I buy longs and get them hemmed (especially for heels) but I just bought regulars since the length was good. Jeans are such a pain!

I wish I had invested in a pair of designer jeans! My favorites are normally Joes and 7FAM and I cheapest out during pregnancy and bought some mid priced Loft and Gap maternity jeans. The fabric was just not as good. I got a saggy bum after just 1 wear after washing and the Gap maternity panel was super itchy!

Just checked it out at they are 34" inseam. I know you said you are 35" inseam, but skinnies can look okay a bit short w/heels and flats and can be tucked in boots! Just a thought...
