We did everything ourselves. This just wasn't something I could justify spending money on.
I really like the first one you posted but whoever designed the second one definitely doesn't have a baby! The love seat would in no way be comfortable for nursing or rocking a baby to sleep!

I chose rainbows and sunshine because my 2 year old got to design her room.

I didn't really design it per se because its pretty meh, just a room with furniture and his toys. Some artwork on the walls..
But if I could afford it I would have loved a designer! Maybe moreso for my livingroom and bedroom though lol

@Mrs. Pen: haha agreed, if we had someone design any room in our house I think it would have to be my bedroom
I love the look of that second room. The couch = gorgeous!

We didn't use a designer.
I love the Serena & Lily bench in the first nursery, but S&L furniture is outrageously expensive for kids' stuff I like the look of both nurseries though, both are so calming!

@Mrs. Jacks: rainbows and sunshine is a pretty accurate description for a 2 year old's design
Nope, after the diy wedding planning, I knew a nursery would be easy, it just all came together. We weren't looking for anything super fancy, just a nice space for the boy.

No we did everything ourself. even if we had unlimited money I would still want to do it myself, I enjoy DIY projects and seeing my handiwork come to life
