It's an epidemic. Do you eat lunch at your desk?
I do. I kinda half eat, half work. In my mind it offsets the mini Internet breaks throughout the day.

I was getting into a rut of eating at my desk and my boss doesn't love us eating at our desks (we have a lunchroom). I started lunching with her in the lunchroom every day and it's a nice break from my computer monitor. We usually only take 15-20mins, but it's nice to chat with someone and look at a different set of walls.

Yep. No breakrooms near this side of the building. I feel bad bringing my lunch to the cafeteria to eat when I don't buy something down there. I usually take a lunch and read or on here or shop online.

I eat upstairs in the cafeteria with about 4-5 other coworkers most of the time. Sometimes I have to eat at my desk if we have a lunch meeting or if I'm working through lunch so I can get out a little earlier, or if I used my lunch time to go to the doctor. I feel far more refreshed if I get away, though. I hate eating at my desk. Hate.

My desk setup makes eating at my desk kind of a nightmare. I'm very lucky though to work less than 10 minutes from home. So I go home for lunch every day - save for one day a week when DH and I have a lunch date (he works just across the street from me).

I have been eating at my desk since pregnancy. /I do it now because I have to pump 2x a day, so that takes up 40 mins. of my allotted 1hr. break. You should see the crumbs that get caught in my keyboard! I often have to use that air sprayer thingy to get them out.

I used to live 10 minutes from work, so I would zip home at lunch and eat.
Now I just eat at my desk. It’s not ideal, but we don’t have a lunchroom/cafeteria. There are some tables in the break room, but I don’t want to eat there. I eat and work through lunch and figure it all evens out in the end time-wise.
When the weather is nice I do like to take a walk at lunch, or go running. Even though I have a window so I can see outside; it is nice to get out into the world. I also run errands at lunch, then eat at my desk afterwards.

I used to eat in our kitchen/breakroom but then my lunch mate left the company so now I eat/pump/work/browse the internet most days. I maybe eat away from my desk once a week.

I don't eat lunch until I go home, around 2 or 3. Otherwise I would eat at my desk.

I do, I like to play on my computer, read the news, check HB, and facebook. We don't really have a lunchroom and I would just sit and look at my phone somewhere else.

I eat at my desk most days. I work in consulting and a lot of my co-workers travel or go to meetings on a very irregular schedule, so there's not the same friends here everyday to eat with (plus, I work while eating to offset internet breaks too). On Fridays when all the travelers are in the office, we all eat together in the lunch room or one of the conference rooms!

Yes, almost everyday. We don't have a break room. There is a cafe on another floor, but they kind of encourage us to eat at our desks. There are several kitchenettes with fridges and microwaves on our floor, so I prepare everything there and bring it back to my desk to work through lunch (aka use the Internet from my phone while I eat, lol).

I eat at my desk too. It's the only time of day that I don't feel guilty being on the internet.

I eat at my desk because I feel more relaxed than if I go out. Don't get me wrong, I often go eat with my coworkers, but sometimes I like to just sit.

yep. after dropping off my kiddos at lunch, i usually only have about 15-20 minutes before i have to get them again, so i eat and work through lunch. it's embarrassing how quickly i eat!

I do, pretty much every day. All of my coworkers do, too, so I feel like a slacker if I take a real break! I look fondly back at the job that gave me a full hour lunch break, but that job was boring so I think I'm better off now, haha.

Sometimes I run errands and on occasion will meet a friend for lunch (I work in the city).

Some days. We also have a nice atrium at our office with tables and chairs, so I'll take my lunch and a book to read. I rarely go to our cafeteria - I like "alone time" at lunch. Not more time with my coworkers. Or, I'll run errands.

Every day. It's my one chance to catch up on email and Internet stuff depending upon how busy my day is. In the 7 years I've worked at my company, I've eaten outside of my desk a handful of times. I also use lunch time to run errands to nearby Macy's and Old Navy. Recently, my husband and I have been using our lunch break for marriage counseling as well.
