I was looking to see if anyone has ever had anything similar to the lump my DH has on his forearm. He is making a second appointment with a dr to have it looked at but in the mean time he is freaking out and googling doesn't help at all.
DH has a lump under the skin on the inside of his forearm, maybe 3-4 inches in from his wrist. It's somewhere between the size of a pea and marble and is hard. It doesn't seem to hurt unless he messes with it, it isn't red or discolored, and it doesn't itch.
He saw a doctor at his job (Drs from local hospitals rotate through a medical center at his work) and basically the Dr told him he isn't sure what it is, "it could be anything, possibly cancer". He gave him the number to a hand Dr to make an appointment in a few weeks if it's still there. The mention of the word cancer has DH extremely worried. I wasn't there but from what DH says it doesn't seem as though this Dr is very good.
Has anyone had (or known of someone who had) a similar lump? Did a Dr give a diagnosis?
I understand this is the internet and we will seek advice from the new Dr but I figured it didn't hurt to ask.
