@babyjmama: @shopaholic: Thanks! I haven't made a public statement about it yet. I'm still scared - haha! This job just kind of fell in my lap, so it's hard to leave a job I love, but money (and advancement opps) talk, so I needed to take it.

@BabyBoecksMom: I've been the same way about mine (except on HB, but haven't "announced" it IRL). DH and I are going to be moving for this job and it's a HUGE deal and I'm kind of freaking out too!! I'm sooooo happy for you! Do you mind my asking what kind of work you do?
ETA: I just kind of hijacked that thread.............dang me!

@babyjmama: LOL - I don't mind you hijacking at all I work in technology - I'm a SQL/database developer. As much as I love my boss and my coworkers (including DH!), I have no where to go. So at my new job, I'll be in a lead role and I'll have lots of room for growth. Plus, it's in the healthcare industry so that alone opens a lot of doors for me.
ETA: Moving for a job would be HUGE! How is that going so far??

@BabyBoecksMom: Awesome!!!! My Dad is an applications developer (I think...maybe that's the right term?) and I totally regret never learning from him. When I was job hunting there were so many jobs that I could have applied for if I'd just paid attention and not just handed over my computer and said "Daddy fix it!"

@BabyBoecksMom: Gah...moving is going to be really stressful. DH will stay where we are now because he's a student and has to finish the semester so I'll live with our best friends during the week and come home weekends (it's about an hour and a half away) and we're starting the hunt for houses and talking to a builder about the possibility of getting a new build sooooo it's a little stressful lol...

@babyjmama: I'm sorry I can't imagine how stressful that is. Well, I can a little... my family moved 7 times in 12 years for my dad's job. But, I don't know how I'd handle that as a parent myself. I'm sure you'll do great - it sounds like you have a great opportunity ahead of you!

Haha I am addicted too. I am watching "IT" with DH and I can't watch a 3 hour and 10 minute movie without checking HB now and again
