About two weeks ago we switched LO's brand of diaper and it just did not agree w/her and after a week we switched back to pampers last week. Since thursday after her pm poops she gets an outbreak of red little bumps--I change her diaper right away and I've been using Boudreaux's butt paste and usually by the morning they are gone. I'm scratching my head because I have no idea why she keeps breaking out?? Any thoughts?

Has anything changed about her diet? Has she started solids recently? Because that's the first time I noticed LO getting diaper rash after pooping.

@meredithNYC: Nothing has changed, she's been on solids for about 3 mths now. That's why I have no clue about her current outbreak.

@crash806: Hmm... maybe try sensitive diapers if you haven't already? I have also read that you can try just using warm water instead of wipes - in case the chemicals in the wipes are causing a reaction. But I agree that it's unusual for it to be springing up now without any other lifestyle changes.

Perhaps teething? When my son is teething it makes his poop very acidic and he tends to get a rash.

I was going to say teething too. C gets bad acid butt when shes teething and always gets diaper rash.

DD has the exact same thing going on right now and she is cutting her top teeth. This too shall pass.
