A friend and her two sons came over today but the party is tomorrow! 
We chatted for a bit before they turned around to go home.

We had someone turn up to our wedding the day after but it wasn't his fault. It was a very old friend of DH's who is, how can I put this, a bit of a mess. Too many drugs over too many years has made him lose his mind a little bit... DH invited him because he felt like he should and we were a little concerned about how he might behave, but he never turned up. We found out a few weeks later that our best man and a few of DH's other mates hatched a plan and told him, all individually, the wedding had been moved to the Saturday. We felt awful but we were quite glad!

Yep! Two of my friends showed up on Saturday and the party was the next day. My mom and I were in the middle of cleaning and about to go shopping. They ended up staying over an hour, which was actually pretty annoying because we were really busy!

I've never had someone do it to me, but DH took us to a town two hours away for a shower once...it was the following weekend.
Thankfully my cousin also lived there so we got to have an impromptu visit and the trip wasn't wasted!
