I have to sleep train H, but I've nursed her to sleep forever (she's almost 6 months) bc it USED to work just fine for us. She started STTN at 8 weeks, so I didnt think it was bad to nurse to sleep. She had a week or so of four month sleep regression and went back to STTN. Now for about 3 weeks, ever since she started consistently rolling in her sleep onto her belly, there have been a ton of wakeups every night. Last night I put her down at 8pm, and she had wakeups at 830, 9, 945, 1230, 230, & 5 am. Gah!
She doesnt take a paci, and the only way we've ever done things is nurse to sleep (so I'm putting her on the boob each time, bc I dont know any better either), so I'm worried it's going to be super awful on her that I'm ignoring her and letting her CIO.
If you nursed to sleep, and then sleep trained, how did you do it and how awful was it?
