I am going to start working on my registries this weekend. I am definitely registering at Amazon and BRU. I am trying to decide if I should register at Target as well. Part of me thinks it would be a good option so that people have more than one store they can go to, but part of me also thinks it's going to be a pain to decide what to register for at each. Did anyone else register at both? Did you end up regretting it?

I did Target and BRU. I did a secret amazon one just for my ideas.
I think there were some things that I just put on both lists. I don't think I got more than 1 or 2 duplicates. I just watched them and would mark as "fullfilled" if it was purchased at the other store.
I think it was good too, because sometimes people just look at one registry (say Target) and go, OMG, how could you not have a swing (when really the swing is just on the other registry). So they go out and they pick a swing of their choice for you!
Anyways, I think it was helpful for guests not to have to cross reference registries and be able to have a complete list depending on which store they wanted to shop at.

I was planning on registering on Amazon and at BuyBuyBaby and Target. Then just mark items as purchased on the other registry as someone picked it up. Interested to see what everyone else did!

I registered at Buy Buy Baby, Target and Amazon. No one bought off Amazon, 1 person bought off BBB and everyone else bought from Target. 70% of the people went the night before or morning of my shower, so that's why I think amazon didn't get any love...even though it was my favorite registry! I didn't have a hard time choosing what to put on each...I needed a lot of stuff. I put diapers, wipes, toiletries, books and feeding supplies on each one, since you can never have too much of that stuff.

I registered at both. I would say that I got more from Target that BRU. A lot of the online stuff came from BRU. BRU is nice for the completion process. We bought a bunch of stuff online with the coupon and picked it up in the store, super easy.

I did originally but Target "upgraded" their website in the Fall of 2011 and I had a lot of issues so I deleted it. I ended up with registries at BRU and Amazon.

@Alivoo01: I really want to register at BBB, but there is only 1 in our city (and it's not close to any of our friends and family) so I doubt anyone would drive all the way out there to get something.

I did as well as BBB. We kept most stuff separate from each registry, but the few things that were on both I would just mark off the others. BBB was our main registry overall and had our crib on, but there are not a lot of stores around and we have family out of state (we technically don't have a buy buy baby but a bed bath and beyond with a BBB inside). BRU was our main one for other gear like highchair, swing etc. We did Target for miscellaneous stuff and because I felt that would be the most convenient for people over a large area.

I registered at Amazon, Target and BRU. The Target list was definitely the most popular (because it's generally the most convenient store for people to go to). Amazon wasn't really used at all - but I did enjoy using my completion bonus!
I did some double-registering and just watched both lists. I personally preferred the items available from Target (and they were often less expensive at Target too). -
I registered at Target & BRU. They were pretty much identical and I did it to give everyone two options for brick & mortar store options.
Pretty much registry stalked and I'd delete things as they were bought off the other registry.
We got an equal amount from each and don't regret it for a second!

I just registered at BRU & Amazon. I felt like a lot of the items I wanted wouldn't be available in-store at Target, so if people needed to purchase it online, Amazon would be a better option.
