DD hates it. DS hates it but he does like looking at the mirror and will quiet down for a half a minute. He still hates it though.

It was never a big issue in our house. Both girls tolerated it, didn't loooove it, but tolerated it until they could roll and then it was game on.

DD loves it. If she's fussy I put her down for tummy time and she's immediately calm. She can roll now and yells when she rolls over because she wants to be on her stomach.

@bluestriped bee: hell to the no. He hates it with the passion of a thousand fiery Suns.

Our LO hated it the first time we tired, so just didn't do it. There were no studies or advice we saw that actually showed tummy time was beneficial. Her doctor said she'd roll to her stomach when she was ready, and she did.

He likes it if he is laying on his belly on us or if he's propped up on the boppy.

She likes it, for short periods of time. When she's tired, or ready to be done, it's not happening. When she was really little (about weeks 1 to 10), she loved to push off of things with her feet while on her tummy, and got fed up real quick if you didn't put your hand behind her feet.

Mine loved it! We were given advice to start tummy time on daddy's bare chest as a newborn and LO really enjoyed it! When she got bigger we progressed to the floor/mat and she was happy as a clam and motivated to look up and around.

LO1 hated tummy time but I did it dutifully because that's what the docs said to do. Since he was born though, I saw a study that said it's basically unnecessary: http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/06/06/tummy-time-may-not-be-needed/
I'm not planning to even try with LO2 who was just born.

My LO2 liked it just as well as back time. He just hated being put down in general.

My DD loves it! I think she feels closer to getting mobile that way. She keeps trying to scoot off somewhere.

My daughter tolerated it for about ten minutes at a time. I tried to do it a lot because she would pass a ton of gas during tummy time, so it helped her fussiness (plus it was adorbs and hilarious to hear her fart so much).

My almost 8 week old hates it. He cries and kicks so hard that he propels himself forward. It's "hate crawling".

E hated it. She would scream and wail and beat her tiny fists on the mat. She might lift her head off the ground for a few seconds to yell in my face, then plop - down it went, face first onto the mat. Needless to say, we didn't do it much - and she has a flat head now!

He hated it. @hummusgirl: thanks for that article. I'm not gonna push it with this one.

I don't think hate is a strong enough word. It was torture until about 4 months!

My second baby loves it, it's bizarre. She'll get tired after a while, but until then it's all belly all the time. 4 months, and it's been like this for a month or so. She's also been sleeping on her belly for a while.

@travellingbee: I should add, I'm doing a few things differently this time. With LO1, I did tummy time but he had a bit of a flat head because he was also on his back a lot (slept in Rock n Play, sat in bouncy chair, had activity mat with things hanging from above, etc.). This time I'm letting LO2 pretty much hang out on a blanket on the floor and he's slept in his crib from Day 1 in hopes he'll move his head around more. He's less than 2 weeks old so time will tell if it works!

Mine liked it. She's been a tummy sleeper since she learned to roll at 4 months!

Both of my kids hated it so I didn't push it. Not something I was super concerned about.

Our LO didn't mind it, but I didn't really do a regimented course of tummy time, either. Often it was on my chest, so of course she liked that, it was just time hanging with mommy.
