I had to be induced with my first at 40 weeks because of no progress. I'm really hoping this LO decides to come on her own, before her due date! Currently 38+2.
What was your labor experience like with #2?

Not sure when DS would have made his appearance, but labor was fast and so much easier the 2nd time around.
Start to finish 4 hours. With DD it was 12! -

@chopsuey: I'll definitely take a shorter labor! I was in labor for 18 hours with DS!

No experience, but my mom was 8 days late with me, then 5 days late with my sister, then 4 days late with my brother.. so each time she went a bit earlier than before.

32 weeks with DS then 39 weeks with S. I'm scheduled at 39 weeks for LO but I have a hunch he might be early.

38 weeks 4 days with my first and 39 weeks 1 day with my second. DS2 arrived only a few days later than his brother, and it was a very quick labor (less than 4 hours).

@chopsuey: that makes me nervous, I was in labor barely 9 hours with A, of course I'd like it to be shorter but as long as I'm at the hospital first

36+1 weeks with DS and 38 weeks with DD. We were convinced DD would be as early if not earlier than DS but she fooled us!

Labor started at 40 weeks with my 2nd and 40 weeks 3 days with my 1st. So a few days earlier, but not much of a difference. My belly must be comfy.

My water broke naturally at 38+5 with DS and I was induced at just past 39 weeks with DD. I was convinced I was going to go into labor earlier with #2 but it didn't happen

@Bao: exactly- my two goals with this next birth are to have someone watching our #1 so my husband is present, and to make it to the hospital first! My whirlwind 8 hour birth last time makes me nervous!

DS was born at 39+4
DD at 37+2!Both started in exactly the same way, water broke at home with zero contractions. I went into labor naturally about 2 hours later with DS and went in to labor after an enema with DD.
