I want to get LASIK but we want to start TTC this summer. I read what you shouldn't get LASIK while you're pregnant because pregnancy can cause your prescription to change. Did anyone experience this? Was is permanent or did it go back after LO was born? Did anyone have LASIK before TTV and find their vision changed? Any information would be great!

My vision did not change. However - I worked for an optometrist and would get many pregnant females coming in to get glasses for their pregnancy because their vision had changed. A few times they would come back after they had their baby and switch out the lenses on their frames because their vision changed once again AFTER they had the baby.

Mine was a little bit worse at my last checkup, but my eye Dr. said it usually returns back to normal after pregnancy.

My vision seemed worse while I was pregnant, but went back. And it seems worse right now, but I think it will go back after I deliver again. The thing I notice the most is that my eyes are really dry during pregnancy.

It doesn't seem like my vision has changed at all yet during pregnancy... but when I stopped taking birth control my prescription changed so much. My eye doctor told said that the hormones in BC or during pregnancy will change the shape of your eye and therefore your vision.

I needed to have my eyes checked before I got pregnant, then was advised to wait til after I delivered. My eyesight did get worse and 1.5 months pp it's still bad.

I've never heard of eyesight change as a pregnancy symptom. I'll have to keep it in mind when we conceive.

Mine changed dramatically but it wasn't until after I had given birth that I noticed it. I don't know the exact change (I haven't had my eyes checked yet) but I just know that I can't see things as well anymore. It's frustrating!

My eyesight didn't change.

This thread is really interesting to me. Before going off birth control, I had two retinal tears in two years. Hopefully, nothing will change when I get pregnant. At least, I like my eye doctor and she'd be cool about the whole thing.
