Is it me or did the forum posted font change? I checked the zoom on my computer to make sure it wasn't that. It looks different to me. Anybody else notice this.

Yeah, I noticed it! Haha, I also checked my zoom to make sure I wasn't going crazy.
It's typing correctly in the comment box though

OMG. Thank you for posting this! Thought I was losing my mind. Haha!

I have no idea what you ladies are talking about... are you all using a mobile device or something?
coconut / 8861 posts
@mfa_lady: @swurlygurl: @lawbee11: Okay, confirmation that I'm not crazy for noticing this. I thought it was my computer or when I accidentally hit zoom sometimes.

@Adira: Desktop. The posted forum font appears to be Times New Roman (guessing) while the typed font and headers appears to be Hellobee normal font (don't know what it is, not a font nerd). It's only within the postings, not the headers or forum thread list. The posting font is the same Hellobee one, but when posted it becomes Times New Roman I think.

Yeah, it definitely changed. It's driving me crazy! I like the other font better, personally!
bananas / 9899 posts
Last I checked it was Georgia and it still is (at least on my machine).
Maybe we're talking about a different text? Do you mean the text this comment is in right now as you read it?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@cascademom: Hmmm... I guess I didn't realize that this is different than normal? Has it not always been Times New Roman, haha? Maybe I'm just REALLY unobservant!
coconut / 8861 posts
@pui: It looks like Times New Roman on the posted messages on my computer. It doesn't look like Georgia if that's the typical Hellobee posted forum font.
honeydew / 7811 posts
@Adira: everything looks the same to me! Maybe we are the crazy ones!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@cascademom: Well, when I'm typing in the comment box, that looks more like Ariel or Verdana, and then it posts as Georgia. But I think that's always been the case???
pomelo / 5524 posts
Maybe it depends on what browser you're using? I'm using Chrome and it looks like Georgia to me...
bananas / 9899 posts
@cascademom: I used web tools to check and in HB's CSS it's definitely still Georgia... Maybe Georgia somehow got uninstalled on your machine so you're now seeing the default "serif" backup font (which is often Times)?
What are you using to view HB?

@Adira: For me, Hellobee has an obvious, subconscious brand font that I'm accustomed to. The font ties the brand what you're used to seeing everyday. It seemed off when I posted. I just want to see if it was me only.

I noticed the change too!! For instance, this thread is posting in two different fonts! For instance, Swurlygurl's font is different from Cascademom's font.
honeydew / 7091 posts
A comparison. Top is font that's now showing, bottom is font that's normal, right?
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
It appears differently on different devices - iPad vs iPhone, vs my mac vs my work pc
coconut / 8861 posts
@Mrs. Pen: It usually is the same across devices for me: iPad, desktop, and iPhone.
bananas / 9227 posts
Yes! I thought it was because of an update. If you hadn't posted this, I would have looked up how to change my computer font displays!
pomegranate / 3113 posts
It did this for me a couple days ago, then went back to normal the next time I refreshed the main "boards" page. I thought I was seeing things! But it hasn't happened since.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
Now I'm confused about what you guys are referring to when you say "posted font." Are you referring to the font that a comment is (like this right here)? Because I have NEVER seen that be that grey/green color that @swurlygurl: posted!
coconut / 8861 posts
@Adira: Posted font in the comments. When you're in the process of posting, it's the typical Hellobee font. It changes when it's posted to the thread itself.
honeydew / 7091 posts
@Adira: Well, that color is on the sidebar where the 'recent board posts' are, because that font is still 'normal' so it's the only thing I could compare it to. So pretend it's black
The only change I'm seeing is when you open a thread - all the comments and original topic is different. The main board page, and all other headers are normal.
Not that this is a big deal or anything! Just something different that caught my eye
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
Just to clarify, this is the font we're all talking about, right?
bananas / 9899 posts
@cascademom: Ahhh okay I see! That font while you're writing a comment is called "Museo" and I still see it as I am writing my comment. It changes to Georgia when I post!
Museo is not what we call a "default web safe font", it usually has to be loaded in special, so maybe something is going wrong there on your computer and it's not rendering. Might be something Mr. Bee will want to look in to! You are likely seeing Georgia, which is the backup font font for Museo in HB's CSS.
honeydew / 7091 posts
@Adira: Right! And this is how it's showing up for us. Weird that it's so different...
ETA: Well now that kind of looks the same? IDK, I'm confused.
coconut / 8861 posts
@Adira: Yep. @pui: Ohh, that's interesting. I'm going to close my Firefox and restart it to see if that does anything. I wish I knew CSS to fix it, but I don't.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@swurlygurl: Ooooh, thank you for posting that! Now I finally see what you guys are talking about since it IS different for you! So strange!!!
bananas / 9899 posts
@cascademom: Even if you knew CSS you wouldn't be able to fix it for HB... Mr. Bee needs to change that. I was just using FireBug to check what fonts were where ha!
coconut / 8861 posts
@pui: I see. DH would probably know how to fix it. He explores website code for fun sometimes.
pomegranate / 3921 posts
@cascademom: Wait, do your comments normally post in font you type them in? Mine never do! It used to look more like Times New Roman once posted, and now it looks like Georgia!
coconut / 8861 posts
@mfa_lady: When I type posts, it usually looks exactly like the posting font in the rectangle post field. This is the first time, it looks completely different.
