I don't know... thirty just *sounds* so different than twenty-whatever. I will be 30 in a couple weeks also, and then will be having my first child a couple weeks after that. Hopefully that will mitigate some of the more unsavory feelings I have about hitting 3-0!

I'm turning 29 in a month, so I still have a year to think about it, but a lot of really good pieces are being moved into place, so I think 30 will come at the end of a great year for us, and I hope that will help.
And if not, me and my SsIL are planning a Vegas trip for my 30th (with our husbands, I guess
) so that will be super awesome.
