I've been debating for quite some time whether I should apply or not. I loved blogging on weddingbee, but planning a wedding and having kids are two different worlds. Plus, having baby2 will definitely be more tiring then just 1.
But then, I keep thinking that I'm always around on the boards so clearly I would have the time to blog. 
(even if that means my own blog goes MIA)
Still debating. (My application is filled in my email drafts)

I totally did, but I don't necessarily think that my blog is good enough yet. It's not personalized background and I just started adding pictures to it. I'm working to make it better though.

Well if you don't get approved the first time around, apply again when you think your blog is better. I know some bees on weddingbee applied 3 times before getting accepted.

When will new bloggers start being featured on the site? I've been wondering how many have been accepted and when we'll see them.

We haven't accepted any new bloggers on the site yet. We actually haven't received that many applications! I think a lot of people are waiting to see that first person announced on the site before they apply.
It's also a little tricky when it comes to ttc bloggers since there's no way to know when they might get pregnant, so I'm still trying to figure a couple of things out.
I've kind of put applications on the backburner for now, but we're planning on opening up the site this week, so I'm sure you'll be seeing some new bloggers on the site soon.

@Bee, I definitely think new bloggers will help relieve the stress of blogging (alone) for the site. I hope you find people sooner than later.

I didn't. I love reading and commenting but I'm a VERY slow writer when I'm not just commenting (cause I'm anal about sentence structure, syntax, transitions, etc.). Plus, I'm barely keeping my head above water keeping up with the ever-changing life with my LO.

I'd like to be a blogger for the site, but I am not good about putting in pics on my blogs. Plus, I haven't put a lot of our TTC stuff out there yet. I love that other people can take pics everywhere they go, but I think I'd feel awkward about that. To be honest, I seldom ask others to take pics which means I'm never in them and am usually the photog.

I applied as a TTC blogger. This is my first time officially blogging but it's been a really great way to express some of the complicated emotions and frustrations of TTC. I wanted to blog for weddingbee, but weddings weren't enough my "thing" for me to create a great blog. Communicating with others struggling to conceive has really helped me find my blogger voice.
@Mrs. Bee - Are you worried about the timeline for the TTC bloggers? I understand that the pregnant bloggers don't start until after the first tri because of possible miscarriage risk, etc, but that is all a part of TTC, so I would imagine if a person is willing to be a TTC blogger, they are (or you should find out if they are) willing to share the good and the bad. So they would still be considered a TTC blogger through the first tri. Would that work?

I think the site will really start to flourish once it gets multiple voices going. It's such a unique style and one that really draws people in. Readers get so invested in following stories that it becomes must-read material!

I would love to begin to blog and eventually apply as a TTC blogger, but I'm not sure about the logistics of it. I have a feeling that it would get incredibly repetitive. And, what if it doesn't happen for a long time? I have a feeling my blog would become depressing and eventually forgotten until we decided to look into fertility treatment which could be a year down the road.

Me, too. @ Duetletterpress. My LO is 3 y/o, so I think I'm past the perspective they'd be looking for. And we don't plan on any ttc in the near future, so........yeah. Nope.

I don't keep a personal blog and my LO is older than 6 months, so I don't meet the criteria, but I'd love to do some other kinds of writing, maybe guides or something, if that ever becomes an option. I think a great thing to do would be a "bronze/silver/gold" series where you take different budgets and do a maternity wardrobe at all pricepoints, a baby registry at all pricepoints, etc.

I doubt it I will. First, I'm not really a blogger and second, I don't have any kids yet. I do have a blog made so I can use it to share my TTC/pregnancy process and any updates of future babies to any family and friends.

I don't qualify -- my LO is 6 months old, and I don't have the time to blog anymore. I would love to contribute a guest blog on some topics that interest me at one point. For now you'll just see me on the boards.

Maybe for TTC bloggers they can actually start blogging when they are already pregnant,but start blogging here from the beginning of their journey even if it meant going back in time a bit?

I'd actually like to see the site stay a little smaller in terms of the number of bloggers. I felt like weddingbee got a little overwhelming and kind of like there 100 different conversations going on at any given time. Maybe limit the number of each type of blogger: ttc, pregnant, newborn, etc.

I've thought about it (I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant) but I think I swear too much, hahahaha. What's funny is I hardly ever swear IRL but a lot of times I feel like it really helps get my emotion across VIA the written word. And Bee seems to be putting an emphasis on photography skills and most of my pics are taken with my phone, lol.
Side note, if anyone wants to give advice on how I could improve my "voice" I'd appreciate it a ton (there's a link to my blog in my profile)

I am definitely interested in being a Hellobee blogger. The thing about TTC is there aren’t many pictures to include. I’ve been trying to add pretty pictures to my blog posts but it definitely is a challenge.

@pbandbaseball... i agree with the pictures. it's not obvious. I broke my point and shoot 2 months ago and don't have the funds to buy another cam for now (priorities) so I only have my iphone. And i think in the application it mentions... "but we also don’t want blurry iphone pictures in every post"

@PBandBaseball I was thinking the same thing! I've included some Instagram photos on a few since most of my posts so far have been about things I've done to take my mind off TTC. I promise I have a nice camera and I can take nice pictures, but without a cute baby around, I'm afraid all I take pictures of these days is my Chihuahua!

I applied and hope I get picked! My son is just 8 weeks old and while my blog before was a lot about us and traveling and random musings about it's turned into a lot more about him! I think he's a great age for a lot of blog fodder. I mean, he's got a lot of growing to do
