DH has an work awards banquet at a nice little resort a few hours from home that weekend (on the Friday night) so for mothers day we're making a weekend of it and having our first overnight away from DD.

@winniebee: I haven't asked but I would love a heart pendent neclace with lo and my moms picture on it. My mom passed away and never got to meet p so I think it would be nive to have both their pictures together.
Plus my mom had one that had her kids pictures on it and she always wore it. So I want one like hers. -

Nope. Usually dh just surprises me. Last mother's day he got me a wagon wheel to make an herb garden. We had to drive 1 1/2 hours for it. It will be hard to beat that!

I asked for sleep. More than anything I just want to go back to sleep after LO's 6am feeding.

I have asked for a few things, but will be happy with a card! I originally said mani/pedi, then family photoshoot, then magazine subscription. Honestly, it's all on DH to make me feel appreciated!

i haven't asked for anything. i kind of want DH to think to do something on his own without me asking. so i know i am at risk for disappointment, but i will also be happy if he does anything, no matter how small. like a card!

We haven't talked about it all. I doubt DH even knows that Mother's Day is approaching. He'll pull something together though. I'd really just like a good night's sleep and a nice breakfast.
