My company party was last night (dinner boat cruise) but I didn't go because of childcare issues!
I heard it was a blast!

Ugh, D's was cancelled because of a snowstorm
I'm really sad...it was going to be a Three B's party--Bowling, BBQ and Beer! Hoping it'll be rescheduled!

Nope, I faked childcare issues so I wouldn't have to go last Friday. My husband did the same for his tonight (I'd of happily traded you and hung out with the girlies! Wish we lived closer!)
We are all just too tired to deal with them and none are family friendly, so we'd rather just hang out at home and not fight traffic across town to go.
His first year, my husband's work had a great holiday party on a weekend afternoon at a park with grilling and games- it was so much fun, and we didn't even have kids yet.

I am a SAHM, but I went to my husbands. And I did NOT WANT TO. But it was pretty fabulous in the end!! If I had actually known more people, it would have been a blast!

Not this year, since LO is so little. Kinda sad, apparently it was Great Gatspy theme - Roaring twenties.

DH hasn't had a company holiday party since the first year he started 6 years ago. Even if he had one, we wouldn't be able to attend due to a certain 6 week old boy who needs his mama.

DH went to his last night. DS and I went out shopping and to dinner while he was at it.

Mine was last weekend. A daycare lady sat for us and we had so much fun!

My company doesn't have one, but we went to DH's and had an ok time. We won a kitchenaid mixer, so it was worth it!

@autumnlove: silver! His company always has excellent raffle prizes, and this is the 2nd year we've won... Last year it was a 200$ spa gift card!

I didn't this year only because I've been so stressed with work I need as much down time relaxing as I can. Plus I have to put up a front for people I can't stand when I go

Yes, it was right after work in our building.

Mine was lame. It's the same thing every year, dirty Santa and a bourbon tasting, and appetizers. My husband's was so much fun! The catered dinner, had a photo booth, and bought all the kids a presents.

Nope, there was a huge snowstorm that night and we didn't want to risk the 45-minute (in good weather) drive. A lot of people didn't make it because of the snow.

Yes, my boss treated the whole team to sangria and tapas at a gorgeous new restaurant. It had been quite a while since I had been out on the town like that.. It was awesome!! My sangria was white spicy ginger!

Yes. It was right after work at a local golf club. Heavy apps, and all you can drink soda ;). We did a Yankee swap, and there was a cash bar but I had dinner with ILs planned for that night so I didn't drink. I got DH a key finder in the Yankee swap.
Dh and I work for the same company...I had to stay in the hotel room with LO!
