I did, I brought the bobby and used it everytime I nursed him for the first month!

I just brought my personal pillow. I didn't want to have to deal with both. I ended up hating my boppy anyway and never used it. We nursed side-laying.

Yep boppy and I still use it every time at 4 months for hands free nursing.

Nope, one less thing to pack. I use the boppy at home but don't think you need it at the hospital.

I did, the boppy, and used it to pad out the side of the hospital bed as A slept in the crook of my arm after my c section and it made it a bit safer for her. Soo useful. But I didn't find it as useful for breastfeeding... Now I've had one child and know what I'm doing I think I'd find the boppy easier.

@anbanan15: I didn't use the pillows a lot with LO but I wonder if they will help this time!

I didn't bring my boppy to the hospital I just used their pillows but use it EVERY TIME I nurse at home

Yes! The Boppy and I use it every day! It was also helpful just to have baby rest on it whe she'd fall asleep while feeding and wouldn't want to lay in the bassinet! I didn't find it too much to pack.

Nope! I don't own a nursing pillow. Have done fine without one so far. I know you're getting a c section so nursing football position will probably be most comfortable for you..? Not sure how it'll be to have something around your midsection post op..
I just used regular pillows when I nursed in the hospital.

i have a boppy, but i did not bring it to the hospital and i actually don't use it much for breastfeeding--i didn't like the way it fit around me. oh well!
oh, you might want to check with the hospital--i saw a brest friend hanging in my room when i was there.

I took the boppy but ended up using a few regular pillows stacked on top of each other.

I brought the boppy and used it immediately, plus when he was in the pediatric unit at 2 weeks. There's nowhere comfy to nurse at our hospital...

I have both, but didn't bring either. Didn't need it. Too uncomfy on the bed. Easier to lay down and use pillows.

I didn't, and I was fine without it! Then again, I often nurse now without a nursing pillow.

@Mrs. High Heels: I'm packing my bag with your blog post as my reference. Did you love the coconut water?

I brought the boppy but I ended up using the Brest Friend exclusively once we got home. I like how firm it was and that I could strap it on and walk around with LO if I wanted to. lol.

I brought the boppy and so glad I did! It can't hurt to bring them both and leave in the car so you have both options. You know that if you bring only one you will wish you had the other one!

@autumnlove: yes, i drank all the coconut water i brought! i used everything i had on that list.

I have a boppy and a brest friend-- I also had a c-section. I found the brest friend offered nice support and used it right away in the hospital and then at home. I felt that with the boppy baby was always rolling in towards me. Not ideal.

I didn't bring my pillow and had my family go get it from our house! I loved it in the hospital!

I didn't bring my boppy, but I brought like 3-4 pillows from home, and used all of them.
