Nipples for existing bottles. They didn't end up working for her and I had to buy a diff brand.

I'm planning on buying new bottles. We used the heck out of the bottles for DS. Even the material is starting to degrade (it was nice and firm, but is now getting soft). To the point, it set off multiple explosive alerts at the airport security checkpoint. Yea... That was fun!

We're just buying some nipples. We went through 3-4 different types of bottles with LO #1, and I saved all of them, so I have quite the array to choose from, lol.

I bought a few new bottles but was able to use the ones we had because she took the same kind and DS didn't take bottles regularly until I went back to work when he was 9 months, so there was a lot of life left in them. I did buy new nipples though.

Just new nipples but I did buy one box because we seemed to be missing a few! I didn't want to go crazy in case DD2 doesn't like the same bottles as DD1. I have a couple others still in boxes to "try" in case we need it.

Nipples! We had a billions different brands with DS1 and he only took to one...so we will see which he likes and just get nipples.

Maybe I'm being dumb but can't you just sterilize the nipples? Or are they going to be super nasty in a couple of years and I don't even want to go there? We have glass bottles so they're all holding up great. But LO is only 5 mo...

@MenagerieMama: I'm reusing mine. I'm guessing it might be how much use they got? #1 only had bottles 3 days a week from 7-12 months since I worked part time so maybe they didn't wear out as much for me.

I bought new bottles because I wanted to use glass ones instead of the plastic ones that DD used.

@MenagerieMama: Our nipples were worn out and weren't flowing as slow as they should be. We had to replace them while using them for LO #1 too because they would wear out. I've heard you should periodically check your nipples to make sure the flow is still correct for what you want and replace as necessary anyway.

Just new nipples. We had Dr. Brown's glass bottles though, so they were in great shape. We ended up having to get new venting devices (company sent for free) because they weren't working correctly. But, the actual bottles were in perfect shape!

@MenagerieMama: I don't recall exact details but I think our Lansinoh ones recommended replacing the nipples about every 2 months. They do wear with use and you can see the difference between a new and used one.

New nipples. But we used Dr. Brown's and they're kind of expensive, so I didn't feel up to replacing the bottles.

@menageriemama: I wanted to reuse our nipples but even with under two years between kids some of the plastic had gone sticky in storage - stupid high humidity!:)
