We bought a few new ornaments...a Hallmark frame, Peyton Manning, Elmo and a Mickey Mouse.
I am going to make some footprint or handprint ornaments with the LOs this weekend.

I bought Liam an excavator and a sail boat (that he calls a pirate ship). My MIL makes all the grandkids ornaments every year - she hand paints glass balls with a picture of the child and on the back a list of their likes/dislikes, etc. It's so special. She gives them to us on Christmas (or whenever we see them to celebrate, which will be the weekend before, this year).

I bought E her annual one (sofia the first this year) and then I dipped pinecones and put those on the tree too to give it a rustic feel.

My Mom & Dad buy us one every year for our anniversary (in Nov). Then they get R one. We also bought R one (Minnie & Mickey). I wanted a beach ornament since we went as a family for the first time but I haven't found one. My friend is going after Christmas, so she is going to look for me.

Not for ourselves but my grandma has demanded (not joking) that we bring an ornament that my 15 month old helped to make for her tree (She's clearly forgotten what 15 month Olds are like lol) so we will attempt making a few handprint ornaments

I let J pick out a new plush one almost each time we're at Target. He was really pumped for the Christmas tree this year. We put it up early and let him do all the decorating. So the bottom half is decorated, it's perfect.

I bought DD a purple hippo ornament since she LOVES her hippo lovey. I also plan on making something to commemorate our new house - maybe just putting a picture of it in a frame ornament. My friend's mom makes them an ornament every year to commemorate something from that year. I wish I were that crafty/creative!

Nope! I have enough snowflakes to last me until my son's 6th birthday and I could decorate 3 trees with the stuff my mom and I have (she's downsizing and I am getting all her stuff).

I will be making LO a passport ornament because we went to Mexico this year, and a new job ornament for DH.

I usually get a few new ones a year when we go to this huge Christmas tree display. We also made some painted salt dough ornaments and cinnamon dough ornaments.

I need to find an "under construction" ornament for our yearly ornament in honor of our home addition, and I found a pretty snowflake to represent the miscarriage we had this spring and the passing of my mom. I would love to have LO make a couple but things have been crazy and it's just not in the cards this year I don't think.

I got an Elmo ornament for M since she's really into that right now. I plan to write the year on it too. And she got a small bell at the Polar Express reading we went to that she "helped" put on the tree.

Nothing new this year. We bought quite a bit over the past two years so we didn't really need anything.

My mom always bought us one each year and now we do the same. I bought a hallmark one for DSL and a personalized one for DD on Etsy for her first Christmas. I still need to find one for DH.

We bought a "baby's first Christmas" ornament and I had DH saw off part of our tree trunk to make another one. I think we're going to wood-burn DDs name into it.

My parents had a huge collection, and it was so special to take it out every year and pick out what goes on the tree! Then we moved and left most of it behind. I wanted my kids to have something like that, so I've been buying a new ornament every year ever since I had the pocket money for it.

I usually try to pick up an ornament as a souvenir when we go on vacation. This year, we got one from the San Diego zoo and one from my husband's hometown in Arizona.

DH and I usually pick out a new ornament together each year. This year i was involved in an ornament exchange, so that was our new ornament this year.

Yes! We upgraded to a giant tree last year so I bought another pack of ornaments from Costco and I also picked up a set of purple ornaments from Home Depot.. LMW is crazy about her purple! We'll also go shopping for our yearly ornaments... maybe this weekend.
