i remember one of the first things i said to dh after a painful 2 hours of pushing (following a 26 hour labor) was... "i want a c-section next time!"
at 3 wks pp, i've def changed my mind and would of course want a vag birth first... but i wouldn't be against a c-section either as i was so adamantly with LO's birth.

I remember wishing I was having a c-section during labor because my contractions hurt so bad. Now though I would definitely want another vaginal birth but maybe with an epidural this time.

No, I would definitely want another vaginal birth even though I tore to a third degree and pushed an hour and 45 minutes, it was brutal but quite the experience.

I had an elective c/s, so I get it lol. I have a friend who had a really traumatic vag birth and opted for a c/s for her next two.

I pushed for 2hrs and 45 min. During that time I spoke about wanting a c section instead, but definitely after the fact I want a vaginal Birth.

I nearly had to have an emergency c-section as a result of my extremely precipitous l & d, and I am so thankful my doctor and nurses knew it wasn't what I wanted. I would never want a c-section unless immediate danger was imminent and there were NO other options.

I wouldn't want a csection. I loved having skin to skin right after LO came out, and I wouldnt want the recovery that comes with a csection.

Nope. Even though I ended up with an episiotomy that was a bit of a pain healing, I wouldn't choose recovering from major abdominal surgery over that!

Hells no! My labor was ridiculously long, difficult, and painful, and the actual delivery was pretty traumatic...but I'd still not take surgery over it. I'm certain a c-section is not the "easy way out."

Nope - my labour and delivery was pretty easy and I loved the experience (significantly more so after I got the epidural) and I would hate to miss out on that experience in the future. Having a c-section in future pregnancies actually terrifies me!

I ended up with a c-section after 22 hours of labour. I am definitely having a scheduled c-section the next time. My recovery was a breeze and probaby would have been even better if I didn't have the trauma of labour beforehand!

I had a c-section last time and I would prefer not to have one again. It pretty much sucked for me.
