Our accountant got all the paperwork weeks ago. We always owe, so we'll end up having to cut some giant check both to the IRS and to our accountant in April sometime!

They are pretty much done, but since we aren't getting a big refund this year I'm waiting to file. It's pretty much a wash, we owe federal but we are getting a little bit back from state.

Filed on Feb. 1. Our situation is not complicated and we get money back so it made sense to do it ASAP.

@KT326: just so you know you can file but set it to debit your acct on 4/15. That's what we do particularly if we only owe one and have a refund coming from the othee

It was super fast this year! It took 5 days to get direct deposited from the time I efiled. I got it awhile before Valentine's.

Yep, we usually use the 3 day Presidents weekend to do them. We also had extra motivation with hospital bills from having LO in january.
