I think I thought about it once and I made a profile but some of my matches were guys I knew (and didn't like) in real life. Ha.

Yes, I was only 19! The only reason I set up a profile though was because I had just moved to a brand new area and didn't know anyone! I didn't meet anyone worth dating.

DH and I had a 9 month break and so I had a date from someone I met on Myspace. Luckily, they weren't a creep and things didn't click, so that was the last I saw of him.
If I had to date again, I would probably use an online site.

No but my sister did and she was horrified this guy in Chicago took her to his favorite restaurant and it was a cracker barrel and he brought her a balloon which we "forgot" under the table.
She met another one in Chicago and he wanted to marry her but she was 21 and they stayed friends and more recently they hooked up and she found out he had another woman (and a child, so I think sister was the other woman). Anyway, sister got a phone call from his girlfriend/wife!

I did for years, but I didn't meet DH that way. We were actually both on Match but never came up in each other's results, haha.

I had just signed up for a site when I met DH. I deleted my account after our first date!

Yes & no.... DH & I met online, but it wasn't through Match or anything....just a chat client we both used back in the 90's.
