@MrsSCB: Green is one of my favorite colors and when I looked up the birthstone for August I totally fell in love with the stone color, and it just solidified my desire to have the ring!

I bought myself one, DD"s birthstone (gemstone) and a handstamped lower case A

yes - he gave me a beautiful gift (watch i had had my eyes on for a long time) & a poem he had written the first night we were all together in the hospital - it was totally unexpected!!

I got an iPad for nursing. Propping my laptop up while feeding the baby got to be a pain, so we got me an iPad.

@littlebittyhouse: That is so sweet, I love the idea of passing them on! I'm sure his future wife would be so touched!! Maybe you could even give them to her when she has a baby!? (I know that's like a million years in the future but I just thought it was so sweet of you to say that! )
Anywho, as for me, not even pg. yet. I guess I would want a PP, who doesn't like presents? lol

I don't know if I will get one but I would like one, specifically something of the diamond variety DH might laugh in my face if I mention that though, so we'll see...perhaps something more realistic would be a piece of jewelry with the babies' birthstone incorporated. We shall see

We didn't get each other wedding presents (we felt like the wedding was a gift enough?? so like people who don't understand push presents, we didn't understand wedding presents for each other) so Wagon Sr. got me what he would have wanted to get me if we did do wedding presents-- diamond studs.
For my all-of-2012's presents (birthday, valentines day, mother's day, push present, 7 year anniversary, christmas) I got my rings re-set.

Nope, my DH doesn't even know what a push present was and it never occurred to him to get me anything. Ah well, I was fine not getting anything.

@mrs. wagon: He didn't get me a wedding present either although I got one for him, so I think he wants to make up for it now

He got me a diamond eternity band. Pregnancy honestly sucked, and I was miserable for almost the entire time; so it was a sort of token of thanks for going through pregnancy and giving birth to our daughter. It commerates her birth!

I never got "push presents" with my first two, but with my third he bought me a really cute diaper bag that I had my eye on my whole pregnancy to spoil me a bit post delivery. Not sure it was a PP exactly, but it was a nice gift and who doesn't like being spoiled?

nothing specific, but i sure have bought a lot of stuff online since LO was born!

I got diamond earrings which were a total surprise. I didn't realize DH knew about push presents, and we had never talked about it.

My dad got my mom an additional, really thin gold band when my mom had me and then again with my sister. She wears them along with her original wedding band and e-ring (and later an eternity anniversary band). I always liked the symbolism of the vow or commitment they made to their growing family.

We never called it a "push present" (I don't like that term either!), but a few months after our daughter was born my husband bought me a sweet birds nest necklace with three "pearl" eggs that I'd been eying on Etsy. I love it!

Yes! A pint of Guinness and a plate of my favorite sushi delivered to my bedside two days after giving birth. It was all I wanted for nine months and it tasted like heaven!

DH said I could have anything, I decided I wanted a small Dyson! What is wrong with me?!

I don't know that I'll get something as a 'push present', but I have been looking at necklaces with initials/birthstones. Baby's due in August (8th), and I am a little in love with peridots. We'll see what happens to fall into my online shopping cart.

I don't need anything but I am sure I will get a pandora charm to commemorate the event. Likely the August birthstone charm!

First time I got an e-ring upgrade and diamond studs.
Second time I got a diamond eternity band.
Both weren't exactly push gifts though.. they were for a couple of special events lumped together.

I got another band that matches my wedding band. I'm all about symmetry. This was also my birthday/Christmas/push present all in one.

I didnt get one but I'm saving it for when we're done having kids and getting something with all their birthstones incorporated. I barely wear jewellery and never change what I do wear, so 1 piece rather than 2 or 3 works for me.
I AM getting a tattoo to mark his birth though.

I got a cast iron skillet, lol. More so that my dad could make my favorite breakfast while he was here. Wound up being a pre-baby present though since I was so overdue!

If I get one - I don't want to know about it advance. Ill not be disappointed if I don't - but it will be super sweet if I do!

I don't know if it's really considered a push present, even though I guess I technically *did* push...but I have a cute little coach bag, now. And a cat tree for my kitties. More like consolation prizes.

@MrsSCB: agreed!
I got a combo birthday/push present 4 months before baby. DH bought me 2 thin diamond stacking bands - one for my bday one as a push present. But I traded both in and up for a different single band. I still wish DH would get something, no matter how small, as a commemoration of DD birth now. I told him you can't get the push present so far before I actually pushed!

DH gave me earrings that have the boys' birthstone. I love having something to commemorate their birth, besides my boys that is.

I got a gorgeous necklace from Bauble Bar with LO's initial. It's so special.
@aprk: I love your ring! Gorgeous!!
