I made the mistake of telling DS what April Fool's Day is all about, so he keeps randomly telling me "confessions." He'll say "Mom...I spilled paint all over my bed!" The crazy part is that he's really good at sounding guilty and sincere, so I keep believing him.
I'm really over it.

I thought I'd made it through safe, but DH just texted me saying that the dealership called (we brought the truck, our only vehicle, in on Saturday for brakes, oil, evvvverything, DH is now out of town for work for the week so it's just me and the truck) and they "forgot to tighten the oil cap so we're running on no oil."
I immediately begin freaking out, googling, "OMG nO oIL!1!!!" only to have him shoot a quick "April Fools!!!" over. NOT amused. Luckily he knew well enough to end it before I got TOO invested!

I sent my DH a picture of an old ultrasound showing a cyst in my ovary (With date blacked out) and told him we are pregnant....We've been trying for a while. I think he's going to cry when i tell him it’s an April fool's joke.
I promise I’m not being evil, but this is for all those years he’s got me with a good April fool’s joke.

@anonysquire: I'm gullible, too...which is why DS keeps getting me. But, he's 5, so he's gullible, also. I'm about to get him good! Payback!

I don't feel bad. I'm on a diet and he keeps eating sees candies right in front of me and keeps leaving out chocolate everywhere. Grrrrr!

I purposely haven't believed ANYTHING I read on Facebook today...even if its true. Hubby hasn't gotten me yet today - but he showed me an awesome April Fools video. Have you seen the Youtube April Fools prank? So funny, and so well done.
(Basically, its a video put out by Youtube, saying that Youtube has been a contest for the last 8 years, and the contest ends tonight at midnight. The staff will take the next 10 years to review every video and make the ultimate decision). Its pretty awesome.
