Did you "go Greek?"

@mfa_lady: It totally is. There are at least 3 owls staring at me right now. It's a bit of an obsession. I've been banned by DH from acquiring more. He thinks if we try to sell our house or have random company over that they will think we are nuts. Too bad for him his grandmother has quite a collection that she's passing on to me. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has this obsession.

Nope, no regrets. Definitely not my style and I didn't have time between working and class.

No, but there were only a few options at my school and I didn't really know what they were anyways!

Yes!! I was a Sigma Kappa at a large state school. It was great. My DH was in a frat too. We are both super close with our friends from the frat/sorority (bonus that many are mutual friends).
I loved it and will totally encourage our kids to rush

Nope. I got suckered into going to one sorority party (I was invited and went for the beer, not realizing what it was) and they pulled all the girls in groups of 4 into a separate room to ask deep questions like, "Tell us something you've done that you were ashamed of", "What's the worst thing someone ever did to you?", etc to "bring us all closer together and help us bond". Then we got tips on drinking carrot juice to help tan evenly and daytime makeup. True story.

I couldn't even keep a straight face. It was right out of a bad movie.

Just...not my style. The greek system wasn't super prevalent at my school, which was pretty artsy for a state school.

@Anagram: Ew. Thank you for reinforcing my stereotypes about sororities! I'm sorry you experienced that!

Another Alpha Phi here! I didn't rush until soph year, and I think it really helped connect me to campus because I commuted.
